He's also one of those players who go missing for long periods in games, doesn't always try and has a poor work rate;distant cousin of our Adel although without the strops.

He bottled the chance to play in the prem because i expect he thought he would struggle. Why else would he go to Russia, yes the money was good, but it would've been in the prem also.

I think he's a typical hyped player in the SPL playing for one of the old firm, ie, they perform becasue they are playing against sunday league opposition week in week out, and then they believe their own hype, combined with the arrogance of the old firm in general (ie we should be allowed in the prem..., yeah on current quality you'd be relegated!).

He is nothing special and there are countless better wingers in England, many of which probably surplus. Just look at Obertan, was nothing at Utd, yet been excellent for Newcastle. Personally i wouldn't sign anyone who's made their "name" in Scotland as it means nothing.

I've got a fair few Irish friends who hate the lad! He has so much ability yet very rarely uses it and i have to say, i've watched him on numerous occasions and get the same impression! Also the fact i think he went to Moscow for around 9m so i guess we'd be looking at 6m + so a big no no from me.

Never scored more than 7 goals in an SPL season, has scored a total of 5 league goals in the Russian league in 2 seasons & has scored 2 in 44 for Ireland.... Hardly proved himself.

I know his game isnt all goal scoring but for an attacking player I would certainly like to see a better return against the standard of oppo he has played against.

I, personally, wouldnt want him anywhere near a QPR shirt.

Another player who mugs off league 2 quality fullback in the SPL then is never as good when they move. I'd rather Pienaar, Krancjar and many more who are miles better.
