Days like today should make you think though, all the brave boys who put their lives on the line for our liberty. Whether it be the solders out in Iraq now or the soldiers who dies in past wars I’m glad we have days like today where we can spend some time remembering these men.
As a family we don’t like to talk about our my own grandfathers death in the war, it used to drive my Nan to tears and it still upsets my mum, whilst on duty my poor grandfather lost his life, he fell out of a German watchtower whilst working at a concentration camp.
Very sad, rest in peace mein vater.. rest in peace...

I am manager at my work and told everyone this morning that at 11 we shall be observing a two min silence. Ok come 11am most were out on delivery but the few of us left stood proud in silence.
Picked my youngest up from nursery and the bint running the place told me that whilst she was in Tesco in Rochford they stopped everything and had a 2 min silence, all except some poor old boy, in his 80s apparently, who hadnt heard the announcment and carried on pushing his trolley. The only noise in the whole store was the squeeky wheel on his trolley.
Good effort all round anyway.
