he is the best goalscorer we have had for years and thats a fact and he deserves some respect. you however, do not.

however you dress it up, selling our top goalscorer is a bad thing.

now take your head out of your backside.
Listen I have suffered enough watching Blackstock play to know he is an unintelligent footballer. He does not move for the ball, does not make intelligent runs, does not create, has to be the focal point of everry attack otherwise he looks lost. He needs to be fed a constant supply of crosses which he'll get to 1 in 4. By having to play direct football all the time to play to Blackstocks strengths I feel it stifles those around him who will prefer the ball at there feet.

More often than not Blackstocks goals will come against lesser opposition for me he definately is no big game player. Put him up against a strong defence and he gets found out, he may have been our top goalscorer in recent seasons but 14 goals in a 46 game season + cup games is no great return.

The fact remains we will not be a weaker squad without him which kinda sums up why he was loaned out in the first place. So there you have I have answered your insulting response directly, justified my opinion and not had to use 100 emoticon smiley faces like young Morris who is clearly a very excitable chap. Whether you agree with me or not its irrelevant because from what I've seen I seem to share the same opinion as many others across the message boards so there must be a lot of us talking out of our backsides.

For me Blackstock has to be the most frustrating player to wear the blue and white hoops I can remember and that is why he divides opinion so much.

I know we don't get on W12 but that is a top post.
Very good and explains why some on here don't agree with the Blackstock fans.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Agree W12, he is not the forward to bring the best out of Routledge, Buzz and Vine. But neither is Agyemang which leaves HH, who can be if he gets his goalscoring touch back. This means we need a Heskey type forward who can hold up the ball and bring others into play and then weigh in with 15+ goals too.

Think it will be before Sunday, good luck to him... Shame wećve let someone who scores goals leave. Hopefully the new Italian will play against Croatia side Sunday. Mixed messages on his signing, some say he is only on trial others say he has signed. I really don,t know yet. Do know that Blackstock has returned home and Fitz Hall lost his passport and thats why he came out a couple of days late, but will play Sunday.

                Still missing the vital point.
                HE SCORES GOALS.
Something none of our other stikers do often enough.

That Fitz Hall is a ****** isn't he.
I bet he realised he lost it 5 mins after he should of been at the airport with the rest of the squad. For a senior player he is a terrible influence and earning more money than he should be. I think now Blackstock has gone Hall should definately be the next out of the door.

Fitz Hall is someone I agree on...NOT because he's poor, but because we are strong in that area...something we now severely lack up top.

                      W12 - Top post

Benny - JM & JG have looked at him and have decided he can go, as they have better options. To be fair, his stats are terrible and confirm he is a league 1 player, as in his Championship, he has made 139 starts + 42 appearances as a sub and his return is 50 goals which is a shocking return.

                        well

well ill always love dexter but sometimes its better to let players move on
we have so many strikers already now magilton has seen buzsacky playing as a striker hes going to realise that buzsacky can score fifteen to twenty goals a season
and with balanta vine ayegemang helgerson connolly rutledge rose and this italian etc etc we have a fabulous array of striking tallent
plus the reason why we couldnt score goals last season wasnt because of our strikers it was because of a manager that was obsessed with defending
so even if blackstock does go we are not finished as a team because we now have an attacking format and we may well go up this season

                          Shocking return?
So Aggy, Vine and Heider have done better than him?

Benny I have seen your posts on .org.
You seem to have some weird obsession with Blackstock.
Don't you feel that surely after 4 managers not wanting him at least 1 of the 4 might be right? I think Helguson will come good but I would like us to sign a decent striker.

Think the proposed Blackstock sale v much depends on what we get for him - if its enough to persuade the board to buy a Lita or Beckford or AN Other of similar quality then I'll chalk that up as a good bit of business. If it just leaves us with the slighty iffy Eytye (based on his scoring record) then its a major backward step. Because to misquote Churchill, Dexter is the worst option except all of the others.... (that we currently have).
