each to their own i suppose, i sometimes leave early if ive got something on that night etc.
Some fella shook his head at me when we left early against Fulham, he received a volley of abuse from me, I pay my ticket money so do as i please and dont need my support questioned.
No way yesterday though as wanted clap them off and very glad i didnt leave when losing heavily at Port Vales all them years ago.

My dad left bang on 90th minute yesterday. He really, really hates having to leave early but he travels 200 miles each way for every home game, on the train, and he'd have missed the last train back if he'd waited any longer as there are no late night trains back to the #### end of Wales.
...Point being, there are reasons why people leave games early sometimes.SAR Season Ticket

I just don't get the early leavers either. What a waste of money if you are only going to watch about 75mins of a football match. I have 3 old guys that sit near me and they turn up as late as 3.15 on a Saturday, go down for beers at about 37 mins on the clock. They then return with 53/55 on the clock and then walk out on about 80 mins. Are they there for the football or the beers - very expensive boozer if you ask me! It drives me up the wall as its like musical chairs. I'll be moving seats next season me thinks!!!

have never understood fans leaving early, i stay every game to clap the players off win/lose/draw - seriously to save you 20mins and you can watch the game downstairs... how about dont come next time and watch it on sky!? only messing - as someone else said each to their own. seriously though - it does make me wonder why people would leave such a close game
