SWP was decent against s cum too, he has done alright, Barton seems to have picked his game up give him credit and Adel, well Adel is just one big enigma.

Benny, Jeffro - fair points and know you always back up your arguments. Don't want to have a go at any of our players and know you are both loyal fans too. I'm as frustrated as you that Adel hasn't turned it on like some of think he can. I do just think that every game we lose at least one player is dug out for it. At the end of the day we are mid-table and life isn't that bad. My personal view is Adel will come good but fair enough - all about opinions and all that.

Agreed. Everyone is picking on him as they don't want to sound like 'glory hunters', and in my opinion he is still one of our best players; he's just not scoring and that's why everyone is getting on his back.

          Agree with both above.

He's been no worse than many others, mainly Barton, Derry, SWP yet is always the one to be substituted. I can understand people's gripes but as always I say start with your best players & he for me is the best at the club on ability.

Stain, it's just opinions mate. It wasn't taken any other way.

Nik...you're wrong mate. Nothing to do with scoring. His attitude is p**s poor, and he clearly wants off. He's not playing well regardless. If he looked up for it, I wouldn't care about the scoring. As for picking on him...come on mate. We're not at school. The lad needs to grow up and earn back the respect he started to build last year. He'll amount to nothing if he doesn't sort it out. No one gets anywhere unless they put the effort in. He has the potential to be amazing. Sadly for him...it's not going to happen.
            Your mum would love me...

The only difference in opinions is that you and others say play him no matter what, as he will come good eventually, where as, I and others are saying drop him to focus his mind and make him hungry like Bothroyd was. We all want Adel to come good, just different ways of achieving it.

Every one has a right to an opinion and it would be a very sad world if we all thought the same. However opinions are usually based on some evidence however thin.

Would one of the Tarrabt lovers please explain on what basis you believe he could be the match winner against City or indeed any other Prem club.

It seems clear the players have had enough of him and whilst they put up with it last year because he could change the game they do not appear to think he can now. Despite the PSG story nobody wanted to buy him and despite his agent working over time no body wants him now. Even Warnock, his biggest fan appears to be loosing patience with him. I do not know anyone in football who actually thinks he can make it at this level simply too lazy and deluded.

So the players, manager, other managers and a awful lot of football savvy people think he cant do it but still some on here say give him one more game, he will tear City apart etc etc. There is simply no evidence whatsoever to suggest he make the step up. We are one of the lowest scoring teams in the Prem despite him having the most shots, coincidence don't you think. He has probably given the ball away more than anyone else and when doing so usually causes us problems as he gives it away so easy. He doesnt tackle or head the ball and his set pieces are so bad they are embarrassing.

Please accept whilst he has talent his attitude is poor, he cant do it at this level without getting a lot fitter and improving his all round game and he continually disrespects the club I love. How people defend him is beyond me.

He has made the step up but he's playing differently now, he is working as a team rather than by himself, I mean look how he played against Newcastle. I agree his attitude is sh*t so maybe he does deserve some time out on the bench like Bothroyd did.

The only thing that is different now to last season, is that he is not allowed to saunter around, doing what he wants when he wants. We are playing the same system to suit him, but he is no longer the big fish and I think he cant handle that. A stint on the sidelines should focus his mind.

Do you honestly believe he is playing differently because he working as a team, WOW.

Do you not think it might be because he can't take players on and beat them as he did last year, better, quicker defenders simply eat him alive

Blimey a lot of opinions changed on here.
Just my ten penneth worth Adel is without doubt our
most gifted player, who don't come along that often,
especially at QPR,so good to see people backing him,
and all the rest as we should.
Not sure about Adel on the left, but it's worth a go definitely!

Adel is our most talented player by a mile however that formation with him on the left would leave us no cover as Traore bombs forward and Taarabt wouldn't cover him so we would be blitzed by any half decent team who has a good right midfielder. Also he would be a left midfielder on paper but no way would he stay there he would just drift off and we'd have ten men like usual when he disappears in games.
                          Estamos QPR

I don't think that anybody is doubting that. I can even recall Harry saying that Adel was one of the most gifted players he has ever worked with..... But that doesn't count for sh!te if he cannot contribute to the team at the level that is required in the PL. The whole should be more than the sum of its parts and all that........

                              Yeah well put maverick69.
The one thing I would say is if we are going to play Adel, he's got to be encouraged to run at the opposition, (like last year) otherwise there's no point having him in the team.
That though does carry the risk that he will lose the ball.
