sometimes I have to agree with you W12.

Adel is still vital to us - we just need to play with discipline. We need to trust NW to sort that.

Our best team has Adel in it.

And don't give me Mackie. Yes he runs around a lot. But he is not a Premier League quality player.

Overall, Adel hasn't been that bad this season. He has made defence unlocking passes even in games where he played poorly. That talent gets you points.

Other players have been far worse.

I love Adel and he's by far our most talented player. But against ManC we need players that can defend and play physical to make them frustrated. Richards is in great shape and would love to face off with Adel rather than SWP/Mackie

Would one of the Tarrabt lovers please explain on what basis you believe he could be the match winner against City or indeed any other Prem club.

It seems clear the players have had enough of him and whilst they put up with it last year because he could change the game they do not appear to think he can now. Despite the PSG story nobody wanted to buy him and despite his agent working over time no body wants him now. Even Warnock, his biggest fan appears to be loosing patience with him. I do not know anyone in football who actually thinks he can make it at this level simply too lazy and deluded.

So the players, manager, other managers and a awful lot of football savvy
people think he cant do it but still some on here say give him one more game, he will tear City apart etc etc. There is simply no evidence whatsoever to suggest he make the step up. We are one of the lowest scoring teams in the Prem despite him having the most shots, coincidence don't you think. He has probably given the ball away more than anyone else and when doing so usually causes us problems as he gives it away so easy. He doesnt tackle or head the
ball and his set pieces are so bad they are embarrassing.

Please accept whilst he has talent his attitude is poor, he cant do it at this level without getting a lot fitter and improving his all round game and he continually disrespects the club I love. How people defend him is beyond me.
With regard to his attitude, since he's been with us it's been poor but clearly now we're in the premiership it appears to have got slightly worse but news is amplified by the fact we are now Premiership. I really don't give a s"""" about him being seen at bus stops or being stroppy, what I do want is he lifts his game. As previously said a number of our big players have been inconsistent, so singleing out Adel is unfair.

As to no one wants him, all the signing we got over summer could be categorised the same way but they are excellent signings.
NW clearly likes and is loyal to the bloke for obvious reasons namely he got us up and turned the reputation of Neil from
being a feisty northerner in the Allardyce mould to actually an extremely talented manager who was able to tame and mould a young maverick player into the player of the season, suddenly Sir Neil has become in the footballing world more Arsene than Sam.
So I hope he plays today and I do believe he can be a big force in premiership, I know people have said what has he done this season but big turning points in games we've drawn or won do have telling contributions from him. Unfortunately when he's poor he appears to be very poor but hopefully confidence, team spirit, great management can improve this.
So I agree for the big games you need your big players and if he can score one of his classics from out side the box early on then just maybe

I would start with Adel and now that Bothroyd has scored for us and probably has a bit more confidence it could help so he must start too, it could be Adels pass which creates the early goal which we will really need. As soon as Adel starts to drift out of the game though i would get him off immediately, i mean doesn't he have to catch a bus at half time anyway?

Listen to what Bothroyd said in his interview on world, he said he liked playing in Adel's position, as that's the way he plays.

I hope the only pass in his locker today isn't his bus pass.

Adel for me is our player who has nothing to prove to us. We all know what he is capable of AND so do all the premiership teams. They have been given team orders to kill Adel or be killed . As soon as he has the ball they are gonna close him down big time cos if they give him any space or time he is gonna let off a killer pass like he done to SWP against them down the road. I feel that cos of who he is and what he has done all eyes are on him and any slip up is gonna be magnified. If you kept your eye on any other player you will find that they make slip ups just as much as Adel but its never noticed. Lets hope Man C diss him today so he can have a blinder.

We all want Adel to come good, just different ways of achieving it.
To be fair Paul I think you would enjoy it more if he didn't come good, your hatred for Taarabt stretches back 3 years.

Thank god you are not QPR manager as your management technique would resemble something similar to the Drill Sergeant in Full Metal Jacket

You have to pick your best team, no more free role for Taarabt play him down the left and right swapping wings with SWP with 2 lumps in Helguson and Bothroyd up top, Barton and Faurlin in the middle.

                      -----------------Kenny----------------------

                      Young---Gabbidon---Ferdinand------Traore

                      SWP------Faurlin-------Barton------Taarabt

                      ------The Boff-------------Helguson---------
Good choice, probably our best team at the moment and with us having DJ, Akos, Dyer, Smith, Mackie, all pushing for places we don't have a bad bunch (when they're fit or can perform on their days).

Prem teams are not the slights bit bothered by Tarrabt please name one this year who have man marked him as Savage did last year. Exactly none, trust me they want him to have the ball as he slows everything down and 50% of the time he gives it away trying something stupid. The majority of opposition mangers will actually give instructions to close other players down so we do pass the ball to him, particularly when he is either around the middle of th pitch or in our own half.

If u actually think that I feel very sorry for you. Try somthing novel and get behind Adel for a change. Funny how he was superb for Morroco a month ago, even scored a freekick. Why? Because the team and fans are supportive!

I doubt it had anything to do with that. Like last year, his game was better against lesser opposition. I'd say that helped a lot.

Again...lesser opposition. Like I've said, I'd love him to succeed with us, but the truth has been show this season. You talk about support? The lad has behaved disgustingly at times, yet many still stand by him. After the c**tish act at Fulham, loads cheered his 1st touch against Villa. If that's not support, then I don't know what is.
