surely a similar punishment?
Essentially CFC have admitted to this being chanted.
Very sad indeed..."Ever since you were born I always knew you were a bender!"

Chelsea condemn their fans' chants about QPR defender Anton Ferdinand in Tuesday's 1-1 Champions League draw at Genk but are likely to escape Uefa punishment.
"Chelsea have condemned chants by their own supporters about QPR defender Anton Ferdinand during Tuesday's 1-1 Champions League draw at Genk.
The travelling fans repeatedly sang about Ferdinand, who it is alleged was racially abused by Blues captain John Terry at Loftus Road on 23 October.
A Chelsea spokesman said in a statement: "The chanting was wholly inappropriate and we don't condone it."
I love the way UEFA said they can't do anything because the Ref didn't include it in his report (like he would know who Anton Ferdinand is!) but would do if further evidence became available. Well how about Chelsea admitting their fans chanted something inappropriate? Isn't that enough?

Just to make sure there is no misunderstandings, I posted this on another thread earlier today http://www.wearetherangersboys.com/f...d.php?t=118793
"The fans chanting last night have multiplied the problem for Terry, ABC and Chelsea FC by a factor of 100's.
The FA and wider world will now see this as a club problem, as Terry has made statement after statement saying he didnt when he did, ABC has stuck by Terry, even dedicating the win at Everton last week to him and now the fans chanting "you know what you are". Chelsea will have to look tough on this now and that means sacking Terry and banning some of the 1,100 fans."

But don't let that get in the way of you defending Chelsea and their fans.

But don't let that get in the way of you defending Chelsea and their fans.
At no point did he suggest it was not bad. To be fair to him, neither did he even give the impression that he thought it was in any way acceptable.
All he actually said was that despite the obvious connection, the chants themselves would never be held up as being racist. Which of course they won't.

ok...what was actually sung by chel**** fans??
nothing actually to view,listen.....
surely if bad enough and racial element, then uefa can act thru tv evidence, like with recent england games...we can't point fingers and ignore english fans doing it!
hopefully dock the club champs lge pts rather than a pittance fine, IF found guilty.
all the talk about "kick it out" and it's just that, talk, when it comes to action, it's pathetic.

Not this first time and it wont be the last time where people see something that is not there.
