Its really funny that there currently seems to be two groups of people on here. People who like / rate Barton, but dont currently rate Taarabt's efforts and the people who are trying to find out what Taarabt aint playing well, who blame Barton and Warnock.

SWP and AT on wings - JB and AF in middle. what's wrong with that?
SWP is a born winger - givne confidence will skin players.
JB - undoutably more effective central.
AF - can and has bossed the mid.
AT - give him a position. tell him to stick to it and stop wondering around the pitch. he's not good enough for that "fluid" role he had in the championship but given mroe structure the kid certainly has skill and with 18/20 assists last season he can produce a final ball (the one for Wayne at LR last season outside of the boot is just one example)

The majority of us seem to think JB has played his best for us in the middle and when he has been there it's been much better all round.
However, I recall reading threads on a Newcastle forum, all of which had the same theme - Warnock doesn't have a clue about Joey and nor do the Rangers fans: wonder how long it will take them to work out that he is shizzle in the middle of the park and is only a superstar when he plays wide right.
Now, this wasn't one post on one thread, it was all over the place and I would guess their fans have seen him play a lot more than us.
So, I deduce that we have better wide players than him (which we do) and that he looks better for us in the middle because it means Warnock has changed things up - either removing AT, SD or both.
IMO, the other thread about whether AT has been mishandled is the route of all of this - no he hasn't been mishandled, the integrity of the whole team has been, by trying to accommodate an underperforming AT to the detriment of better team performance.
So, let Joey play in the middle for a run of games and show us one way or the other if it is us that's right or the clearly more knowledgeable bar codes#standuptocancer

The management and directors think JB is worth the money, who are we to argue?
I'd prefer to see JB play CM alongside Ali. I think the pair of them are good on the ball and strong in the tackle. Both have good engines which will allow the wide players to support the front two.
I also think we should play our strongest team and players playing in their right positions. Right now I think it's 4-4-2. If we continue on the path of swapping players around to counter any threats from other teams, we end up weakening ourselves. Let other teams start to worry about us, not the other way round.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

If we stay up excellent value for money.
If having him here attracts a better class of player, same as above.
Can't believe so many are going on about money, if we had signed Gavin Mahon or someone from Watford or Barnsley or something all the posts would be about no ambition

Well the question was if JB was worth his high salary as of yet? Personally I do not think so - and that might be due to his position on the right. This does not mean that he is a failure signing - we will have to wait until May to see who failed and who did not.
Regarding AT - I think it is fair enough to say he has failed. Both on the pitch but also in attitude and teamwork.
....Funny though I took the stadium tour the other day and they said AT was the very first to turn up for training every day.
