  • Spurs the best team we have played this season by far

Some of their play was a joy to watch it was just a shame we were on the recieving end but do not understand why their fans were so quiet for most of the game

Agreed. Some of the play, albeit aided by us standing off, was fantastic. Parker was different class, and they have pace all over the field. Pleased we matched them for half an hour in the second half though.

Agree, although I think a different ref wouldnt have let Parker get away with the amount of fouls that he did! The one on bothroyd especially. I thought it didn't matter if you got the ball if you had to go through the player to get it.

on their day, at home, they can match any team in Europe. Man City was a blip. No shame in losing there to be honest.

Agree, played some lovely one touch football at times our players just could not compete.

They were devestating at times. Power, strength, flair in near enough every position.

Defo best team we have played & fully expect them to be top 4 with the squad Harry has assembled.

Also not a dig by any means but their was quite a furious debate on here when Fernandes took over regarding who was the better player between Joey Barton & Scott Parker. I think that debate was firmly settled yesterday for anyone who was in doubt.

Yes Isle, Spurs showed the gulf of the top 3/4 to the rest of us.
Still we rattled them 2nd half and I was very pleased with Bothroyd's performance.

                Bring on the city!!

Fair play to Both. Put in a great shift when called upon.

More of the same please JB.

Agree, we played 11vs11 for 30 mins v chelsea and they were not even close to spurs. Strange with their fans tho or maybe we're just used to better atmospheres?
