How much you want to bet that was adel throwing a strop at being taken off?

I have no objection to being beaten by a better team and that's exactly what spurs are - we have no right to expect a result against that opposition - but what I do expect is for me team to give it their best shot.
First half we were dire, far too much time, space and respect given to them and giving away such cheap possession is just not good enough.
The second half, yeah we rode our luck and Paddy was superb, but honestly we had the chances to score more goals and could (with a lot of luck) crept away with a point.

As good in the second half as we were poor in the first............well done guys for 45 minutes you made me very proud

Atrocious 1st half, only Kenny got to half time with any credit. Adel particularly was shockingly bad. Spurs made us look like we should have made Chelsea look 2nd half a week earlier. Down to 9 men.

2nd half, MUCH better, almost competative. Bothroyd very good, Mackie tried hard but seemed to get in the way more than threaten.
SWP got more of the ball and Barton excelled centrally.
But if we had nicked another goal and forced a draw in our purple patch, it would have been daylight robbery.
Spurs still had a fair few chances 2nd half, 2 very good saves from Paddy.

I'll probably get roasted for this, but I'd start Adel next week against Man City. He'll want to show he can mix it with the best.
But NW should tell him that another poor performance like yesterday and he'll be benched for Stoke (not his sort of game anyway).

I just don't think Mackie is up to the standard of Man City, despite his work rate. Happy to be proved wrong.
