Thought Jay looked superb. Looked a threat with Heidar alongside. And the hold up play to bring SWP and Mackie into was superb. Defo his best performance yet. Should be same again next Saturday.

Spot on Matty. Really rate him and hope he starts with HH in the future as we looked dangerous with those two up top.

I said it before that using him alone was a mistake and the evidence is that he scored 20 goals for Cardiff last season and was not alone upfront. A good move by Warnock to play 442 at last.

I think the key to our 2nd half performance was Joey playing in the middle. For me this is a must from now on. Even if NW decides to play 1 up front.
I'm here for a long time, not a good time...

No not quite right Matty ,He was a scapegoat of the system Warno was playing
Should Warno revert back to playing Him in that system He will still be a dud unfortunatly,But good to see Him getting the opertunity to show what He can Do

By the majority, yes thats true mate, but there were people out there branding him a "Championship player at best" and saying he was "out of his depth" etc etc etc. When, IMO, I agree with what youve said in that it was the system with him up top on his own that really doesnt work well. It leaves him isolated and doesnt use his holding up play and flicks as well as they should be, he constantly has to have his back to goal.

2 up top for me all day, such a shame DJ has fooked his foot as I think him and Jay could be a very useful pairing up there!

Yeah but its a common fact in football some so called Fans or should I say people that watch football cant see the whole picture
D J is a massive blow to us I'm also convinced those 2 would be the right combination ,but will D J now have time to stake a claim with transferes coming in when the widow opens

That goal really would have boosted his confidence, well deserved, he can only can better.
