I know it's another thread and all that but thought worth sharing. QPR's game against Chelsea was shown live here (the poles love their footy). Most of them seem to be Barcelona or Madrid fans but I suddenly had people trying to talk to me when I wore the hoops here today.
What with the euros being here soon football is a big talking point....the main news was saying how Terry should be dropped from the England squad. The jist of it (translated) was that football is trying to stop racism (globally as such) and that Poland more than most is trying to clean up its game.
Now this was the equiv of the BBC 10 o clock news...and they were saying that the "other camera angles" ???!!!??? prove that Terry is a racist. (I sooo need to see what footage they were shown here). And that as England are the "owners" of football in the world that how can Poland be expected to clean up if the "owners" of football have a racist as captain.
FOUR people spoke to me this afternoon/evening about this.
