  • Anton Ferdinand tells of 'crazy' days in John Terry furore

With Ferdinand not having heard what Terry said, the FA’s investigation is expected to hinge significantly on the available video evidence.

But it doesn't actually say in the article Anton didn't hear Terry...?
Did Anton hear him at all? Are we just going on guess work from the video?

I thought it was more substantial than that.

I think the case (from what I can tell) is that:
      1) Terry is seen on camera calling Anton a black etc.
      2) Terry then releases a statement saying that he is aggressively responding to Anton shouting at him that he said that. So Terry's version is that he is saying "Anton, i didn't call you a black etc"
      3) Anton never heard this
      4) Alledgedly 3 qpr players can support this

So, why would Terry retort that he hadn't said something if no one had said that he had said it?

We need to sing our hearts out for Anton on Sunday.

The article states Chelsea have suggested that Terry only used the offending words as part of a longer sentence, denying any racism.

so they admit he used those words but not in a racist way.
        Guilty as charged.
