Anton Ferdinand Is The Real Deal

I just wanted to say that Anton Ferdinand is a top defender and if I was him i'd be sad that not only did Sunderland sell him for a low price but Bramble was ahead of him.

My favorite signing of the season by a country mile no doubt about it, top class, keep it up Anton mate

I watched a lot of Anton in his early days and ability wise thought he was fantastic, as good as Rio. But so inconsistent, maybe Warnock and QPR will bring that to his game but we won't know that until the season's over.

Good news though is he's easily good enough for the Premiership, Wheater maybe a good realistic target to play alongside him...!

He's been pretty much faultless since arriving. He's grown up a bit now and will hopefull continue as he's started. People are touting Cahill at £17m.... at the moment i wouldn't swap him.

I'm still slighltly gobsmacked how we managed to land a young, classy English CB so relatively easy and unopposed???? It's even better seeing him settling in and looking the part....... bit of a shame his imperious performance on Sunday got a bit overshadowed by the other shenanigans. People have mentioned Cahill; I'd also suggest Jagielka has looked iffy this season - can see Anton rapidly getting in the frame for some international squad call-ups on current form.

Agreed Neil mate, I've always thought Sunderland is a bit of a dead-end job as they just simply cannot be good for one reason or another
