  • Adel's opportunity..

Adel's opportunity this weekend to prove Harry wrong.

If Adel ever needs a reason to put in a 100% game, what better than to prove your last manager wrong to let you go?

Will he rise to the occasion??
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

    2015/2016, average at best.....

    2016/2017, same old, same old....

    2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

    naaaaa.

Hope i'm proved wrong, but i've got a feeling that what we've seen so far this season is all he's got...... remember last season when robbie savage ( on his last legs) marked him out of the game vs derby?

adel can do it - he just needs to man up. unfortuantely - think he wants more respect than he currently deserves...he needs to be proven in the Prem...he's not there yet.

In the words of Kevin Keegan, I would LOVE it if he has a blinder against Spurs. Given all that our 'Arry has pretty much slated him every opportunity he had had, I would love him to upstage there cocky lot.

Can't see it though, they have so much pace and quality I think we'll concede at least 4.

Remember last season when Adel, aged 21, scored 19 goals and 23 assists. Many of them incredible solo efforts and fantastic through balls and crosses.

he needs to grow a pair !!! plus he gave the ball away far to easy the last couple of games which i guess is why NW has subbed him ... we all know what he is capable of he just needs to fine tune it !!
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

He needs to grow up fast thats for sure. His tantrums are embarrassing to be honest. I'll never forget what he did for us last season and would love to see him fulfill his potential with us but am getting a wee bit peed off with him thinking its all about him all the time. Players like Derry and Faullin give 100% week in week out and are the heart and soul of the club.

If the times this season where he has hit the post/bar had gone in this would be a whole different story!!

I was convinced he'd set the prem on fire and have been disappointed thus far. I still believe he's a special talent and I'd persevere with him. As OP says, Sunday is a good opportunity for him to focus on turning in a complete performance against his former employers; let's hope he does so!

Never gonna be good enough, all the time he has a shite attitude. Shame because he really could be something special.

...before Chelsea succeeded in breaking one of his legs, no doubt.
