With all due respect, the fact no one has built such a stadium is irrelevant. Nothing to stop us. For once we have owners who listen. If we're looking to build one and our fans want to be heard over it, I think the likes of Tony and Amit would listen. They've done a lot to pacify us so far, so why not?

Not a dig at you at all mate, but it's far easier to have a sceptical/negative stance over this. I just can't see why you refuse to accept this as a possibility. The signings of Barton and SWP were never gonna happen either, but the fact is, they did.

If I'm being completely honest, I don't see us emulating Saturdays noise more than two or three more times this season. Let's face it...our fans just don't seem to enjoy it, nor realise how important it is. I wish it wasn't true, but it is.
    Your mum would love me...

Fans moved to all different parts of the ground, vocal support will divide, fans become to comfortable with leg room, tourists will be scattered about etc....Atmosphere will be completely flat, too many empty seats etc etc

So I believe your wrong, but lets hope I never have to prove this right!

I'm loving our reputation we are getting as a nasty little club, I like the opposition fearing coming to Loftus Road, I hope we continue to intimidate the oppositions fans...time will tell but I see us recreating that atmosphere for half a dozen more games at least this season
some of what you say is true as we lost alot of atmosphere in the ticket pricing shake up but it was there on sunday for all to see !!!

also most noise in loftus road comes from q p and r block and small pockets of ellerslie road sometimes i sit there thinking if only south africa road would pipe up and join in now but it never happens !!!
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

        Well put.

I can't remember the last time the atmosphere was as good as Sunday so it's not really gonna make much difference with the pitch unless the fans recreate the atmosphere at every game, which we all know won't happen.
(Not to say i am against the same design).
        Queens Park Rangers
        NPower Champions 2010/2011

PREMIER LEAGUE 2011 - ETERNITY (Oh well got that wrong, we'll be back though)

Stay at Loftus Rd - no potential to grow the company - Tony and Amit get fed up and move on - we fall like a stone throught the divisions, till we hit about League 1 where we are prob sustainable. OR we move to a new stadium with some of the characteristics of Loftus Rd and have some chance of retaining Prem status and ambitious, big time owners. That's the choice.

We have to get a new stadium for generations of new fans if we want to see top flight footy. The cost to go to games nower days to the paying customer demands better facilities. What is to stop the paying customer demanding their money back due to lack of or crap facilities in the future. It could happen.

I'm pretty confident they won't be building such a stadium, far to big a gamble IMO. I like our owners but I also believe they will say what us fans want to hear as well.

That atmosphere can easily be created against Citeh, United, Arsenal, Spurs, Liverpool and maybe Fulham...and the more important fixtures become the louder the fans will be.

                    That's just it.
It's not your club.So you don't think anyone else are allowed to start supporting QPR?

Yes, build a copy of the Marassi/Stadio Luigi Ferraris and our atmosphere would be just like it is today, or even better. This stadium has a capasity of 36000, which would be perfect for us!

I rather the sort of supporters who are more concerned about facilities and the Premier League 'experience' over what goes on the pitch, the history of the club and passion of its supporters kindly **** off and support Chelsea...if they are not that way inclined then they are more than welcome.

Yes it is can't see that being built in England though, Portugal is pratically third world by comparison

Yeah fair enough! But surely having a new stadium wouldn't mean we lose our history. You speak with good passion as do numerous if not all others on here,so would be more important to show any new support we get the QPR way.
Would add better facilities normally attract families which then signs up the next generation.

Also another point people miss is its the limited leg room which brings the supporters closer to the action as well as the proximty of the stands. Compare us to Wolves, you can pratically fit the SAR stand in the space between their touchline and main stand
