  • To all those who want a new shiny stadium...

Has Sundays match made you finally appreciate what we have at Loftus Road?

We would never have beaten Chelsea like that had we been in some identikitstadium along the A40 Corridor IMO

i love LR close to the pitch, we are not going to fill a bigger stadium . who wants to sit next to tourists or J-C-L . SURELY THERE IS A WAY WE CAN INCREASE THE CAPACITY

I do agree but it would be nice to have just a few more seats around the ground. If only 25:000 cap.

        i still want a new stadium !!!
i love Loftus road for what it is, but at every match i go to i get sore knees que for the toilet and give up buying refreshments as the que is to long.

you get disturbed 5 mins before the end of the first half of every game as you have to let people go past as they want to get a beer before the que is to long

we could build a new stadium as close to the pitch as we are now if the powers that be woulkd wish !!!
Dyslexic so please don't feel the need to correct my spelling mistakes as I really don't give a **** and before you say use spell checker if it is spelt right / wright but not in context spell check is useless

Definately need a new stadium but there is no reason why we cannot have it built so the fans are close to the pitch like LR.

Concourses, view, comfort, entrance/exits etc LR is just too out of date and even if we were allowed to increase it would not take away the restricted views, time for a move or stay small.

Still wouldn't fill it, keep it tight, uncomfotable and hostile

Best comment on Sky was the Sky commentator apologising for the shaky camera because the Ellerslie Rd Stand was rocking so much.

Who cares if its out off date, if you want comfort buy a new sofa stay in and watch it on the box...if its not broke don't fix it.

You will NEVER recreate that sort of atmosphere in a new stadium regardless of its design

I know what you're saying, but we won't survive in our ground if we want Prem football. I think you could build a ground as tight as ours on a larger scale.

Won't happen, you think it will but it won't....

Fans moved to all different parts of the ground, vocal support will divide, fans become to comfortable with leg room, tourists will be scattered about etc....Atmosphere will be completely flat, too many empty seats etc etc

So I believe your wrong, but lets hope I never have to prove this right!

I'm loving our reputation we are getting as a nasty little club, I like the opposition fearing coming to Loftus Road, I hope we continue to intimidate the oppositions fans...time will tell but I see us recreating that atmosphere for half a dozen more games at least this season

Piffle, you find other ways to make money the revenue for an extra 5000 fans can be made up else where

Also all this belief that we will build a ground as tight as ours on a larger scale is pie in the sky fantasy, grounds are not built like that anymore

A nice new stadium with good facilities, but retaining fans close to the pitch and an enclosed ground - something like Sampdoria / Genoa's stadium would be nice.

Have you ever sat in an obstructed view or do you have to queue at a turnstile which creates a bottleneck and takes ages to get in, or even waited ages at half time for toilets or refreshments/beer, obviously not, maybe we would fill the ground if we had better facilities.

I am not talking about the proximity of the pitch to the fans, that is something we can only try and recreate with the design, anyway the fans need to help do that too and not just against the ****.

Sounds like you do not want us to have a future.
