  • White shirt syndrome?

    Anyone else nervous about Sunday?
I'm hoping for a point(touch wood). Not that I'm superstitious in anyway(go round the ladder).I mean what would be the point of (saluting magpies),running the other way to avoid that (black cat),or (chucking spilt salt over your left shoulder.)
But I'm bit worried that the two teams who've given us a spanking so far this season both play in white shirts at home.
Nah nothing to worry about.....is it?.....nah!...hhmm!

Stark reality of the prem is that we'll approach 90% of away games with some trepidation..... will there be ANY away games where we'll feel ultra confident or bookies will have us as favourites?
I think best thing is to just relax and don't get over-analytical in terms of form, stats, their players etc. When I look at our stating XI I don't see any glaring weaknesses and I think with everyone at 100% we can give anyone a game. Spuds will have the pressure and expectation to win at a canter... if we keep it tight and play neat/conservative football I can see them getting impatient and us capitalising (kinda like we did at Goodison).
