  • I wonder if Spuds fans are just a touch nervous now?

Obvious they are strong favorites to beat us on Sunday and rightly so but I bet there has been the odd discussion between them at work or the pub that we might not be the guaranteed three points they thought we would be three days ago

Could really work in our favour if we were to get an early goal or at least hold them till halftime as they are known for not being very patient at WHL and this could increase the confidence massively with our players

Think you're right Isleworth regarding our players confidence especially.
The Fulham result and performance was a massive setback for the players belief
imo,but the ****sea game has more than restored it.
Looked more like last season on Sunday, more together!

i'm just going to enjoy the day now, get hammered and watch us try and give them a good game. Those 3 points were crucial and more than I expected from chelsea, city and spurs games in total. Anything extra now is a bonus! Football's all about enjoying the moments and this is certainly one of the best times for us in my lifetime!

We've got more than we expected out of these 3 games already so anything else is a bonus, go there and play without any pressure and lets see what happens

we didnt play well going forward on sunday, we just had a lot more discipline and determination than chelsea and that kept us ahead.

spurs will require the same defensive display but when we have the ball we need to do something with it.

I still cant fathom why SWP was played wide left on sunday even when the **** was down to 9 men. stick him wide right and let him run in!
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

the way i see it, theres no pressure on us at all. like chelsea, its another london derby, and funny things happen in derby games, as we saw sunday. and, like chelsea, spurs are strong favourites to give us a right hiding, so the pressure is all on them, which could work in our favour. plus our defence, as we saw on sunday, is top notch at the moment.

All the pressure's on Spuds. We are expected to lose and can just go out and play our football. Non expecting anything from he game tbh but wouldnt be too suprised if we nicked a draw, defence looks solid and I think we certainly have the potential to nick a goal as well. Adel is certainly due 1 and who better to get his first of the season against eh?! Looking forward to this 1

I would settle for a good performance on Sunday, where all the players have a good game and link well, and if that happens I really don't care what the score is (within reason!)

                    just read their Forum.
they are as cocky as Chelsea.
                    talking about resting players.
i think Howard Webb is the ref.

This is Adels big game, i think he is going to be in for quite a bit of stick and there is only one way he can shut them up, he also has something to prove to harry and there fans.

I hope this is Adels game of the season. Would love to see him back at last years level. Someone should tell him other clubs are watching him and the shop window opens again soon.

Have people totally lost their minds?

I was delighted by the result on Sunday and some of the things that happened. In fact first part of game we battled well and to be fair we fought pretty hard throughout. However we were very poor going forward and struggled for 50 minutes against 9 men who in fact created the better chances.

Sorry guys but come on I know it was Chelsea but remove those rose tinted glasses. We were riss poor at times and clueless going forward. Do you really think Spurs are in the slightest worried?

What we need is to get back some of the fluidity we showed against Newcastle and Wolves. Add that to some steel and organisation and we may get something. Based on last few performances we will get beat, that is unless the ref sends off a couple of their boys!

if we do get back to the fluidity of Newcastle/Wolves and add that with the new belief we've got from Chelsea then yes, i think we do have a chance.
We don't had to play like Barcelona - we just need to stick with what we know we can do.
