  • Looking ahead to Spurs

I would have been content with 2 points from the Chelsea, Spurs and Man City. Now I want at least 4!

Same team as started vs **** with Traore for Hill. Tarbs to have a good game to stick two fingers up at Harry and old team mates. Walker to give Traore trouble.

Spurs without King will be weaker in central defence, that is where the game can be won. However it is more important to try and get something out of the game by matching Parker and Modric in the middle of the park, so reckon we will start with Barton, Derry and Faurlin again.

Battles all over the pitch need to be won:

    Young vs Bale
SWP & Traore vs Lennon and Walker
    midfield vs midfield

Can HH continue with his impressive hold up and flick ons, can SWP and Tarbs support him enough offensively? Will Bassong be thinking of a move to QPR?

It's gonna be a tougher test for us defensively than Chelsea was but we will have more chances to score from open play than yesterday imo.

Heart says 2-2, head says 3-1 Spurs.

Dont like to be negative but Spuds will be a totally different game, they will be a bigger threat on there own turf and we will have to take any chance that comes our way as they no how to finish

Not expecting a thing on Sunday so absolutely anything is a massive bonus.

Draw would be an amazing result after beating the filth.

No doubt Kyle Walker will get a great reception from us travelling R's also.

What did Clint Hill do wrong against a better team on Sunday, to warrant being dropped against Spurs ? He was given a chance again against Chelsea and took it, that is normally rewarded with a run in the team in football. Yes Traore is quicker at getting forward, but I don't think he is a better defender..... yet.

Clint Hill did nothing wrong, and had a very good game. But you have to look at who you are playing. Chelsea are a bigger, more physical team, to which Hill was better suited. Spurs on the other hand are smaller and quicker, which would in my mind give Traore the nod given his pace.

I can see both sides of the arguement; I agree with you Paul in that he was superb vs Chelski and so why should he be dropped?

Then I think people are thinking he may be exposed by Walker & Lennon's pace and so Traore would be a better option.

IMO; stick with Hill. He done a farking good job on Sturrdidge Sunday and hes not exactly slow! Have Traore on the bench so we can change it if Clint really is struggling but I think we owe Clint at least a bit fo loyalty after a superb performance Sunday.

In fairness though would you have fancied his chances against Bosingwa and Sturridge before Sunday? I know I certainly didnt!

Spurs away and City at home are a bit of a write off. I think we can keep it tight at Spurs, but City are far too good.

We said that before the Chelsea game. But we can't rely on teams getting two men sent off every game!

I would replace Taarabt with Buzsaky and Hill with Traore.
                            QPR fan since1987

Bit worried about NWs never change a winning team thinking. If Traore is back he should go straight into the starting XI although Hill were excellent this Sunday.
