  • Warnock slams Taarabt after Chelsea win

Fulham is a typically diverse London area with something for everyone - from the hustle and bustle of North End Road Market, to the refined chicness of the iconic Fulham Road. It boasts superb pubs and restaurants, two Premier League football clubs and excellent transport links.

same old adel, strop because he wanted to take the pen. but i didnt think he should have been subbed. he came back out after storming down the tunnel so fair play.
but what i want to know is why, if warnock had talked to him after the game, he has decided to dig a player out in public again? why not just leave it in the dressing room?

    Warnocks quote of:

"...it's not about Adel, it's about the team"

    sums it up well.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Adel needed to come off... Needed Somebody to chase everything and track back.... He ain't fit enough to do that.

I do think a lot of this should stay in the dressing room. I didn't like the way he called Traore a "disgrace" either whether he was or not. I don't think it helps.

I would prefer we create a siege mentality and keep discipline inside the club. But what do I know - I am not the manager?

Warnock does seem to have his favourites and others seem to be consigned to outer Siberia - Buz, now Bothroyd (who surely should have come on for the last 20 mins in place of Heider) and I hope now not Triaore. Derry was poor for a couple of games but you never hear any criticism there. In fairness we as fans don't know what goes on behind the scenes in terms of attitude shown.

“He's a little kid and takes his toys home.”

FFS Neil. We all know it's true but why would you say that to the press?

I thought Taarabt was subbed because he'd been upended several times -- he went straight down the tunnel, followed by a physio, and when he reappeared, it was with an ice pack on his left knee.
I do wonder whether there is a bot out of context stuff going on here, same as there often is with Joey Barton.

Last season I noticed NW always seemed to bring Adel down a peg or two in interviews.
I thought it was because he was trying to keep his feet on the ground, put off anyone thinking of buying him,and to give the rest of the team some credit.
Have to say I don't think it would hurt to talk him up a bit now because to me Adel has lost a little something from his game.

Think Adel deserves a bit more credit. We haven't seen one of his magical goals yet that set the Championship alight last season but he is contributing as a team player, whatever Warno thinks. He got Drogba sent off, he made the defence splitting pass that got the other sending off, he hit a decent free kick, he even got in some tackles. Time for some credit where its due.

I do find a lot of the public comments made a bit embarassing. To be honest i think Warnock says a lot of it on camera rather than behind the scenes slightly for his own agenda, ie he always gives them something so he's always be in demand etc.

The old regime are always slated, and for some good reasons, however, they were bang on when they told him to keep his mouth shut sometimes and stop divulging certain things like he did about our transfer policy etc. It doesn't do us any favours.

Agreed i thought they were targeting him to get a reaction so they could even up the numbers and as a reesult injuried him.

Traore was injured fella. He was butt naked in the physio room before the game having a check over and my mate told me 1st thing yesterday morning that we recalled Hill late Friday afternoon as there was concerns with him.
