  • You did it YOU!.... all those at LR today

    Wow

watched on TV in the US and the number of times the commentators said LR was hostile, intimidating, passionate was uncountable (a word? I dont care)

at one point they showed the Chelsea dugout from the gantry and the camera was BOUNCING commentator " in all my years of commentary I've NEVER seen this - the place could fall down"

This was one for you....... the fans that make it to LR day in day out, its tough from 6,000 miles but WOW more proud today of the fans than the players YOU made the difference.

In the words of the locals here AWESOME !!!

Every team team should fear YOU!

Commentary in Sweden said similar things. Among others that Chelsea players 'had problems with the atmosphere'.

It was rocking in there. My voice has gone and I've got work in a bit.

I'm gutted as my Sky f**ked up so it didn't record. I'm hoping someone is able to copy this, or we release it somewhere.

What a day. I still can't quite believe it.

I'll second that. I watched back in Sweden and never heard anything like it - this is what we should create every game! What a win

Incredible atmosphere, as I said in another thread, I was sat in B block which is usualy very silent, yet even all around me everybody was up and singing. Best atmosphere I can remember for a long time.

We certainly got to JT thats for sure haha! I thought he was mature and experienced enough to rise above the taunts but he was certainly biting! Brilliant day.

Great credit to the club all!

Same here. Gutted it didn't record. Got to 4 o'clock and stop recording. Anyway what an atmosphere. Certainly was up there with the Oldham game. It really did had an affect on those Chelase mugs.

Had to go to the mother in laws after the game as my wife and child were there, I was accused of smoking as my voice had gone. Had to explain I hadn't been smoking but singing lovely songs about Chelsea. I had a few after the game in the White Horse but nothing better than holding my daughter in my arms as I got through the door and telling her that just sometimes big challenges can be overcome if everyone works together and that being hardworking and honest does pay off.
Even the wife who can scent alcohol on me 100metres away didn't give me grief, as she even knows the importance of the result, hadn't even met her when we were last premiership.
Truly momentous day and loved the fact that Joey (i think it was him) apart from playing out of his skin took his top off at the end of the game and ran over to a fan in the paddocks and handed it over, I nearly started crying.
It was just electric, in the ground, concourse even the toilets.
                  West London is truly ........

Off to work now, where do those two Chelsea fans I work with sit, I'm sure I've got something to tell them?

We often hear about intimidating crowds, but yesterday was fantastic. The crowd were truly the 12th man. It was an unbelievable atmosphere. 15 years of venom in 90 minutes, and the **** couldn't hack it. A number of them "lost the plot" including terry, lampard and Cole.
A huge well done to every single R in the stadium, you were truly magnificent.

I think the **** now undertand what a Derby is.

My sky+ packed up after 20 minutes poxy Chelsea supporting sky engineer. Still watched the goal bout twenty times. Anyway if you do manage to see the game listen to crab Wilkins after we score he said the gantry was rocking and asks Martin Tyler if it's safe up
There. Pure tv comedy. Don't think the muggy fans and players knew what hit them. I bet half of them had never been to loftus road. You can keep your souless bowl, we'll never fill it anyway lol give me loftus road anytime. This also sets it up nicely when we go to their drum, i'm sure were get a nice welcome. Anyone fancy the Monday club?

was amazing, it was literally shaking. TBH when Bircham called on us to make it hostile etc I was sceptical of it working due to the places these lot have been to but I think I and them underestimated how on top the crowd are at LR and i have never felt so good the way Fat Frank, The Son Of a Thief, The horrible little rat Cashley Cole and also Drogba and David Luiz were shook to the core and totally rattled by the fans, was superb to watch them chomping away
