I didn't think we were very good tbh

First off I was there and havent seen the highlights on TV so no idea what commentators thought but watching in the upper loft i didn't think we were very good and it was clear that man for man chelsea are a far better team than us

dont get me wrong, we deserved to win, but you'd hope so against 9 men!

I just didnt think we looked liked scoring and cant remember a shot on target other than the penalty.

If chelsea players hadnt made 3 stupid mistakes (pen and 2 RCs) i think they'd have hammered us.


Anyway we need to buy some strikers in Jan, a creative midfielder, some centrebacks as just having Orr on the bench is scary and 1 more fullback.

We looked OK at the back, and even one size was fine but we were rubbish up front.

PS Our fans were immense and there were times were my ears hurt from the singing was loud. Great laugh to be there

yes we beat them, but they were down to 9 men for over half the match. we should be beating any team with 9 men for that long, when at home by at least a couple of goals.

We scored around the 10th minute, and held them for another 80mins, us being the better side.
Remember they are supposed to be one of the best teams in this country, the reason they lost two players and had another 5 booked was because they couldn't compete fairly, so in answer to the above, we did compete, and we were better, hence the result, we won, i'll say it again, WE WON. and against the **** thats really all that matters.

Personally looking at our team sheet compared to theirs I was thinking how many can we keep it down to yet we dug in, battled, fought & got what we deserved.

For the record if Luke Young had a shot on him we'd have won 2-0 they had as many chances as us.
