Two points.

1) Terry has already admitted using the word "black". He did not say "blind". His defence is that Anton accued him of calling him " black ****" and Terry claims he replied "I didn't call you a black ****".

2) All those people who say it doesn't matter - imagine you found yourself in Kingston surrounded by a load of black blokes and one called you a "white ****" - would you take that as a friendly greeting?

Terry's black team mates feel about this accusation? Apologies if this has already been raised as have not read all the posts in this thread but, I wonder if there are any seeds of doubt in the minds of players like Drogba, Malouda et al and if they are wondering if there is any substance to these claims? Also, should he be found guilty then surely he'd be finished as how could he play with black players who will hate him for it....

I dare say that he will have the best legal team to defend him and that it will be very difficult to prove.... the only winners will probably be legal firms coining it in.....

Surely we have handed it over to the FA.
If there is evidence they will prosecute the case.
But they are sure to fudge it.
Probably reach a decision during the last game of the season.
QPR need to concentrate on the job in hand.

What is most disturbing is the heads in the sand attitude of the Chelsea fans -- obviously in denial about Sunday, but the level of adulation which I find nauseating.

I'd hate my child to regard JT as a role model..

(Worse thing is, I know that, whenever there is a high profile player who 'sins' on the field of play, I get the first wave of copycats at school on Monday morning playground duty, which will be next Monday. I will be dealing with children who will copy the John Terry habit of pushing his head into people's faces, and possibly the language as well, as, unless he is seen to be punished, they don't see why they should be.

Winters right. The police must do their thing, then the fa do there's behind closed doors and we take it from there. Anton said something happened and that it was racist. Paddy Kenny allegedly heard it too. I back Anton over Terry any day. What was it that terry said to ledley king? "shut up you lippy black monkey"?

Terry is a racist - prove before this incident. Unfortunately, the fa will do jack diddly and i reckon anton wants to get on with playing so i ca see this disappearing from official channels.

All that ALL football fans can do is constantly and consistently abuse Terry on and off the pitch..to a point where he tries to deck a member of the public or something.....and then we can see him behind bars

I think it is fairly evident from Anton's silence that something is happening behind the scenes regarding this whole sorry episode. I think he is doing himself no harm at all being silent rather than spouting off as the whole of CFC are.

Taken word for word from this morning's Mail.
