Lets not get carried away. Promoted teams often get off to good starts. Opposition don't know them so well. Blackpool anyone?

Liverpool have conceded to every team at Anfield and Wolves are poor. Yes, they are doing really well so far, but lets see what happens when we play them and where we are after Xmas.

Norwich weren't the better team last season -- otherwise they would have won the league, not us.
I wonder if they might do a Blackpool if they're not careful? Sussed 2nd half?
Swansea I think will struggle because their approach play is really good but, like us at the moment, the cutting edge isn't really there.

And, for a long time, 8, 9, 10, even 12 points clear -- that gap only narrowed when the Faurlin thing broke, as we then dropped points which I suspect we wouldn't have dropped had the players not had the whole business on their minds.
Still finished 5 points clear despite all that.

I'm not going to waste time dragging through the league tables just to prove it to someone who clearly doesn't want to STILL believe that we were the best team in the NPC last season -- if the team didn't do enough to convince you, then I feel sorry for you, as you won't have had half the satisfaction that the rest of us did.
And, 5 points or 4 points is academic -- we still finished CLEAR of Norwich, therefore were better.

If norwich and swansea had a week to get players in and had to get the players to gel they would both be further down the league than us! I think considering the time scale we have had to prepare our time we have done really well!

Well, if he was the best player and massively helped towards those 4 points, the last part of that sentence proves itself rather.
Must have really hurt you to write the first part of the sentence.
You could say the same about Holt's contribution to Norwich last season, and Sinclair's at Swansea -- all three had an outstanding player -- doesn't detract from the team, or the defence which kept the goals out the other end (or was that AT too? He may be good, but even I'll admit he isn't our last line of defence).
And we were Champions, therefore the best.

(Trouble is, you have to have it every way, and you cannot stand to be wrong...)
