  • Anyone still think swansea and Norwich worse then us

We all started this season saying that the above 2 worse then us and therefore thinking we needed 1 other team worse then us, what do people
Think now? Personally think they are showing a lot more about them then any of us thought and look more likely this season
They are scoring defending better showing more desire and playing better footie
    What the fk has happened??

The way we played against Newcastle & Wolves confirms to me we are the better team by far. Yes beyond those 2 games we have struggled but once we 'click' again I have no doubt we will bank some wins. To be fair Norwich got a result no one expected that always crops up & Swansea were playing Wolves who are proper pony.

If we had a half potent striker we'd be class.

I'm not judging this purely on today , think they have showed a real spirit since start , look how Swansea have reacted since their start Norwich played really well at Chelshit and man u and won games
      You wouldn't think
We were beter then both at min

Do we have that in our dressing room? Never thought that would be question I'd ask of a NW team
It does only get you so far and a mix of ability needed

We need to play a part an all. Ground should've been rocking v Blackburn Rovers, a far more important game than any against the "big" clubs
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

I think we're better than Swansea, but it has to be said Norwich look superior to us at the moment.

Completely agree ref the point Abt Blackburn being more important, I argued few weeks back with people who didn't want to go to the games vs lesser teams but saving for big ones , we the fans were shi t in
              That game

We were better than both of them, and have strengthened more than them, but the attitude of our players stunk at Fulham and last Saturday too.
No good having the players if the players are 2nd to every ball, won't put their foot in and break up play and can't measure a simple pass to a team-mate.
We should be looking down on both Norwich and Swansea, but won't until we start firing on all cylinders.
People say we should be patient and not expect too much, but it's not unreasonable to expect what their two sets of fans are getting and that's EFFORT.
Starting to get a little peed off, as I feel we should have done better than we have -- we now have the top 6 teams in the country in the next two months and unlikely to get anything.
Now that the division's whipping boys have beaten us or taken a point at LR, that's a sign that we are in trouble -- and we really shouldn't be, if Norwich and Swansea aren't.

Some good points. Certainly true Norwich and Swansea have done a lot better than most of us expected. On the positive some of the relatively established Prem teams have done a lot worse than we would have predicted (eg if Wolves hadn't have got two late goals today that wd have been six defeats on the bounce); Blackburn and Wigan have also been worse than we prob wd have predicted.

And I agree with you Eastcote - was far more up for the Blackburn game than Chelsea for precisely that reason.

Like I said at the start of the season, both teams have better forwards than us.

Swansea especially have huge amount of pace. Our only quick player is SWP.

Norwich will be the black hourse and will be in the upper half of the table simply becuase Lamperd has installed confidence and passion in his squad. Swansea play good football but lack experiened player as leaders so they will stuggle like us until January where the new signings will show where they will go.

Norwich are the better team (and were last year) and do it week in week out, not here and there like us and they will finish higher that us, we will finish higher than Swansea.
