When the Early Bird finished, we were down at < 4,000 and there were lots of posters around the boards who hadn't renewed by then. What's changed? Who on here has renewed after the end of the Early Bird?
How many HAVE we sold?
I renewed 3 weeks ago - and got the early bird price!!
Why dont you call the box office and ask them if it's more or less they wont give you an exact figure but I believe the one Scott supplied to be accurate.
When I went down to the ground a few weeks ago they show you the screen which indicates what seats are still available for tickets.
Its not rocket science to see that we have sold far more than the negative doom merchants that seem to revel in bad news would lead you to believe.
The fact is we do have a very loyal fan base and as I have said before I think we will sell out again this year.

Saved me from posting - so what Funky said :exciting:
Someone had to give the U-12s a balanced and more accurate view of life as a QPR fan. If they only had you and the Usual Suspects to believe, they'll end up bitterly disappointed.
QBP 20th August 2009..."To be fair, I'm glad we are top of the table (for agents fees). Shows we are not a selling club anymore."

No need when you have other avenues who are less cagey.......
I don't like being aligned to the ITK's or the Socialist Workers Party Wing either.....just a little voice with a nice line in various secure independent sources. When the club does good stuff, I've no hesitation in saying so, when I know I'm being spun a line by conners and the gang (nb don't include Scott in that for one moment, given his stringent railing against the ticket price debacle last season), I'll comment on that too. I think we all expect a little spinning by the Club and the official site, after all it's what their stock in trade is.
Can't see the point in drawing unnecessary battle lines between people who all support the same club but I do believe in transparency and allowing independent thinking to be voiced and a recognition that there are other sources (sauces) out there that just maybe cast a chink of light on the mechanations of the club.

That doesn't mean all the other seats have been sold as s/t's though does it? For all you know a large chunk could have been reserved as walk ups to get more revenue in on matchday.

John Gorman has been the best signing of the season so far, I honestly think the management team we have now will bring us the success we are all hoping for...maybe a few of the doubters before are slowing changing their minds and renewing...
Plus there does seem to be a change for the better on the transfer policy front which has probably convinced a few!
How many games were sell-outs last season then. Out of 23 home games, only about 3 (if that) topped 17,000 when the capacity is 18,000.
Or were you referring to the 10,000 cap on ST sales? If so, QPR still have around 3000 to sell, and unless some inspirational signings are made, I don't se thm shifting more than another 1000...at best.
I havent renewed, and having seen the match day prices, I doubt if I will be. I will miss at least 4 games due to holidays, which equate to a loss, and I suspect I will miss about another 4 games due to work/family commitments.
I'll pay as I go.
As for Prem league football next season? I don't think QPR will be playing there for a while.
Until the Board realise that signing little known or inexperienced players from lower division foreign countries and has beens from England, is not a winning formula, promotion is nothing but a pipe dream.
Well I'm pretty confident that we will sell out of season tickets this year.
I dont really care what people think I am pretty confident that the figures Scott has are bang on.
Not trying to draw any battle lines between fans.
Although some are straight in to accuse of spin etc but as I said I think its others who are in the wrong but hey its up to them to think what they want.
