Gorkks was our best CB last season. Connolly is a bit hit and miss if you ask me. Good cover on bench though.

Really? I really like Gabbidon a lot, few years ago he was a unsung star in the Premier League (And I hate West Ham more then any other team so that's huge)

Keep the faith.

(PS. I really do not like Gorkss purely because I couldn't trust his slow ass to keep up with anyone other then the bottom 3 teams)

Had no problem with us selling Gorkks it was the fact that we didn't get enough replacements in!

Talking to a Reading fan today who really rates Gorkks and reckons we were mad to let him go and is adamant he would have done a job for us in the premier,likens him to ingarmarsson who did well in the prem for them,beginning to think we were a bit hasty given our injurys problems ??

I always thought it was a huge mistake and yes, he is better than Hall.

My feeling is that he was sold partly because Warnock had to raise some funds and he was the only defender apart from Connolly, who would have commanded a reasonable fee.


As for when will Gabiddon be back... a week before Dyer.

I still think signing just one of them was a huge gamble and they were only signed because of T&C not wanting to allow Warnock to spend any money whilst they were trying to sell the club.. I wonder if Gabbidon is on a pay as you play deal too.
