  • Whatever happens on sunday

    We are in the premiership

    We have a fantastic manager

We have owners who care and are making decisions for the long term - training facilities, new ground, youth set up, marketing and promotion of the club abroad

We will invest in January and fringe players will have to go

There are at least 4 teams who are worse than us - Blackburn, Wigan, Swansea and Wolves

    17th this season represents success

This compared to almost going bust just 5 years ago and struggling to get out of division '3'

We might get beat on Sunday - but I for one will sing my heart out and you never know!

i like your optomism but lets get some facts on the table you say their are 4 worse teams 2 of which we have failed to beat ,1 who have started the season relatively well (swansea) not conceding goals at home and the other one maybe. we are the joint worse scorers and the 3rd worst gd (we will be worst by end of next 3 games) all this vs the backdrop of potentially the easiest start in a pl season for a new club ever
i agree 17th will be a sucess but i tell you were going to do well to get there at this moment in time

We had a poor team out v Wigan - included the likes of agyemang and perone

Of course we will be in a difficult position after the next 3 games but there is no reason for the doom and gloom

I am merely pointing out that given where we were not so long ago - our future prospects still look good regardless of the result on Sunday or the following 2 games

Totally agree. We will get hammered sometimes but look where Newcastle are. We totally outplayed them.

mate im the guy who was saying we would be ok with our team from last year

            so optomism not an issue

where we are to where we could of been granted, just saying perhaps our start not as great as mabe we thought when all said and done
