If we can't look forward to this one we might as well go back to playing Doncaster or Scunthorpe...

Bring it on is what I say, or in the words of Obama:

"And where we are met with cynicism and doubt and fear and those who tell us that we can't, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of the Super Hoops in three simple words: Yes. We. Can."

This is what the PL is all about; the big games; playing the likes of man Utd & Chelsea rather than the like of Doncaster & Barnsley.

We may well get well and truely turned over, but at the moment I am buzzing and cant wait for the game. Should be a great atmosphere and Im seriously hoping NW gets the lads right up for this 1 and hammers home just how much the game means to the fans!

                      Man Ure 1 - QPR 4

wasnt expecting that one either, long time ago now but it can happen!!
2011-2013, 2 seasons in the Premiership, 76 games, 14 wins........two years of my life I'll never get back!!

2013/2014 mediocrity topped off with a win at Wembley....

2014/2015 was pretty much the same as 2011-2013.....

                      2015/2016, average at best.....

                      2016/2017, same old, same old....

                      2017/2018, aim low, avoid disappointment!

Its the hope that kills you!

If our team, containing several internationals and many with EPL experience, and who after all will start with 11 men against their 11 men are not good enough to avoid a severe hammering then god help us.

A defeat - probably, but a massacre, unacceptable.

agreed. I've set my 'realistic needle' at 0-2, so if we lose by the odd goal then we've done well. A draw is huge, and a win would be massive. However, if we fold and lose by 3 or more it will be due to not wanting it bad enough as far as I'm concerned. Norwich lost only 3-1 at their place didn't they, and Swansea lost 4-1? I would expect us to do better, especially at home.
