        My thoughts exactly!
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

The difference between Loftus Road and the other grounds you have mentioned is that we are right on top of the players and we can really get in their faces

How about the players? Are they aware it is a derby that means a lot to the fans? Already answered at Craven Cottage!
                QPR fan since1987

I expect Barton to have his best game against Sunderland!

yeah but at those other grounds they had 50,000 plus screaming fans in thier faces....we'll have a few thousand fanatics...max....I think they've seen it all before mate...

Loftus road is not a hostile place...end of......we too have many younger fans who know nothing of our old "fun" we used to have with Chelsea, in the good old days!!

Now if we have a few threads reminding us of the good old days, it might get a few sparked...oooppss, sorry, just realised they are not allowed....Oh well lets all just pretend everthing is rosey between us eh?

We have one corner of the ground that sings and makes noise, other than that its a morgue.
I guarantee we'll do the usual big game thing where we sing for the first few minutes, the away team have a chance, we all s**t ourselves, it goes quiet, the other team score,it goes even quieter, the fans turn on the players.

I'd love to be proved wrong but can't see it happening. In this league WE need to raise the players, not the other way around.

True but we need all the help we can get on Sunday and I think the fans need to be up for it

As for previous games with Chelsea I remember them being horrible bullying ****s and all over the ground and that is the sole reason why I hate them with a passion

One of my best nights at Rangers was Gallen scoring the winner against them in the mid 90's and my worst was the cup game when we lost 2-1

I can't believe the negagativity on this thread, Birch maybe clutching at straws but at least he's passionate. Like has been said above the chelski players have played at the best stadiums in the world, but that's what goes in our favour they won't be used to playing at a small stadium like loftus rd (yes they've played at grounds like blackpool) but with the fans so close to them that have such hatred for them it will be a whole new experience for them, and hopefully not one they enjoy.

Yes it might not make a blind bit of difference, we might still take a hammmering....but that don't say that we shouldn't even try and unsettle them, and just think of the fun you will have doing it. This is a game we've waited years for, whatever the score just enjoy it....embrace it, even if the game is not going well sing your hearts out who knows when we'll get the chance again, and the comment above about only one corner of the ground singing, yes i agree with you....but that's not some sort of rule if you sit in the paddocks you can't sing, if you sit south africa rd you can't sing, or ellerslie you can't sing....you CAN sing anywhere if you WANT to, and if you can't get up for this game then you shouldn't be going.

                            U R'sssssssssssssssssss

Couldn't agree more, ive waited a long time to play those mugs, and i cant wait to do it in front of a Loftus RD with three sides full of Rangers fans (unlike the 80s ), lets show some pride like we did at their place the last two times , now is not the time for negativity.....
