This was sent in to us if anyone wants to take part.
I am writing to you from a charity called Football Aid www.footballaid.com, an organisation that holds fans v fans matches at clubs through the UK including one each year at Loftus Road. We essentially offer fans the chance to play at the home of the club they support; we get full access to dressing rooms, have former players playing & managing alongside them (in recent years these have included Rufus Brevett, Marc Bircham, Steve Gallen and Steve Palmer), fully personalised club kit etc, and post match awards.
The fans pay money for the privilege and the proceeds are split between our parent charity ‘Field of Dreams’ which funds Maggie’s Cancer Centres and management programmes, and a charitable project nominated by Queens Park Rangers FC.
We have been lucky enough to have fantastic support from Queens Park Rangers FC over the years and we already have confirmation for the first time, two games in 2012. We are all set to launch and are looking into all possible marketing options, one of which is obviously local media.
I wondered if you would be interested and whether I could send through a press release?
