  • Too much information?

Just a tiny little point I would like to bring up because its been bothering for a couple of weeks now.
I think it was before the Villa game and NW was doing a press conference, parts of which aired on SSN. The main talking point concerned Tarrabt asking for a pay rise. Neil went on to talk about Jamie Mackies' agent knocking on the door the previuos season wanting to secure a better offer for his client after Jamie had scored several goals for the club.
I don't think it was very good managerial conduct to make that public and may have cuased some damage to the good feeling coming from the club at the time.
What are you views on that particular press conference?

I might be a little over sensitive on this subject and I do realise that football isn't the 'Real World' when it comes to asking your boss for a pay rise but was there really any need to tell a room full of journalist about it?

I'm not trying to stick the boot in on Warnock. God knows I did wonder if I would see the R's in the top flight ever again in my lifetime and I'm only 48ish. But I'm starting to compare what he says to what his counterparts have to say and I'm left feeling slightly embarrassed 'If I'm honest'.

Well done Ric. For a while on Friday I really hated you because I wanted you to be so wrong about D.J. I guess like many others I scoured t'internet looking for anything that would ruin your info but it wasn't to be. What is the point of subscribing for up to date news when none is forthcoming? So well done mate.

Im with you,it seems god warnock can say what he likes inc slagging off players and now supporters and gets up tight and goes on the attack when he feels like it,i think he is losing the plot, whats gonna happen if we get slaughtered in the next few games, who is going to be in the firing line

Mate I've not been a fan of many of warlocks post game comments , I absolutely feel he was out of order the way he dealt with traore , disgusting if you ask me, those comments ref adel
And mackie Should be kept in private , also the way always shows favouritism, yet last year forks and connelly got slammed despite being the beat cb pairing in league, I know
For tv these comments great but reminds me of ollie towards the end where it felt to me
Ollie was more concerns about his media profile and being good value then being a footie manager
      End where

I think he knows he is up against it and as many have said in the past great championship manager but out of his depth in the prem.Surely if things were all rosy in the camp he wouldnt of give 2 hoops about what ric said but when the pressure is on you always look for a scape goat

Have been thinking the same. NW is slating a supporter for reveiling information but tends to give away to much in some of his interviews about things that should be kept in house.
