  • Relegation scrapped or not? What does everyone think?

I am not in favour of this at all as it would take away the excitement of the Premier League, what about you guys?

Is this a "do you think we will be in 1" or a "do you want to be involved in 1" ?
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

No - only reason it's been mooted is because the owners worry about their investment. Fancy going to NFL Franchises?

          Will never happen.

Oh right apologies for my dopiness! No way, IMO, would ruin football. Keep as it is.

That would ruin the league after a few years of watching poor teams not give a hoots hooter play. As after 10 games if your not within reach of getting into the top 6, why try and risk injury as there is no point. You cant go down so your season is over, people will stop going and people will stop watching.

Could this be the final greedy straw of money grabbing administrators running the game which breaks the golden gooses back ! As sky wont pay as much for watching half as*"$ games which mean nothing !

The biggest pain in the ass about living in modern Britain, some fooker, somewhere, will go and fix something which 'aint broke, and we find ourselves left with something else entirely inferior in it's place.

                    Leave well alone.

So how would teams progress? and who would be in th PL? Surely they wouldnt just leave the teams that are in now.
My first game was boxing day 96 QPR 3-2 Norwich....yes we actually beat Norwich.

It would make every season pointless for all but the very top clubs.

All depends on where you happen to be if the music stops. If we are in the Prem at the time then we - and several other small-ish clubs - will feel they have lucked out - while the likes of Leeds, West Ham, Portsmouth, Leicester, Forest, Boro, Saints etc would feel cheated.
