You've done it now, you know we can't mention QPR anymore on this board even though it's a QPR board. Neil won't be pleased, you've now let everyone know who's going to take our free kicks without saying it.

You could ask pete that it be taken down immediately although don't believe him if he says he will.

I don't know why people get so pent up about age. In some cases it's relevant if all a player had was pace for example, and their legs had gone once they hit 30, but in many players cases, they have enough about their game to adapt accordingly.

Sheringham played until 82 and still did a good job in the prem until about 38??? Becks could control games in the same way Wilkins did and he was hardly sprightly, yet he was incredible to watch and pulled all the strings. He also helped Carve Sir Les' career as he provided the countlss assists to help make him become a prolific goalscorer.

It was only 2 seasons ago that Beckham was playing for AC Milan and came on as sub at Old Trafford and took the p155 for about 20 minutes. I remember well he put at least 4 amazing balls into the box which should've been converted and also hit a rasping volley from 25 yards, which unfortunatley for him was straight at VDS, but a couple of feet either side and it would've flown in.

If he hadn't gotten injured, he would've been in the last world cup squad on merit.... and yet people think he isn't good enough for us....

The fact he'd make us millions and potentially help generate an asian fan base legacy for years to come and it's an absolute no brainer.

Great summary Del, my thoughts exactly. One thiing though; didnt realise Teddy was so old! fair play he dont half look good for his age.

Very interesting if true.... A bit of bank statement waving from Mittal and the boys may convince him he should join in Jan....

This not about how good he be in the prem or not. This about selling shirt world wide Beckham name sells and any club that he played for have made big and got there name world wide. The good thing is he still good to get in any of the team in bottom half of the prem.

If we got becks it would be the greatest signing since warnock...fact.

The timing is all wrong, he could put 10,000 on our gate, but we have no-where to put them. If we had started the new stadium already to be finished before the start of next season, and Becks was just 3 years younger I would say it was possible, but I can't see it now. I can see him ending up at Leicester or Southampton
