not that I have a problem with attracting new fans, just that I would have much rather been in the Lower loft! You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

sell out doesn't mean capacity - especially in our stadium.
Blackburn was a sell out for home fans, but all of our seats were not sold.

The attendance, is how many people come through the turnstiles.
The ticket availability, is how many tickets are available (which is obviously not season ticket seats or seats already bought).
If a season ticket holder decides not to turn up to a game, his/her seat will be empty and is not re-sold (these are not included in the attendance as some might think) - Hence a lower attendance and empty seats in some places.
This is how we can still sell out but still have a lower attendance and empty Seats, and that's not without counting the away support.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Oh and BTW If you look at the main site you will see a plan of the ground showing you exactly which stand is which.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Arsenal not announce their attendance Inc st holders even if they don't show? Sunday vs aunderrland they still
Announced 60k despite tonnes of empty
Seats , not trying to argue more
Curious that we don't Inc st in the attendance figure

Re away games that figure is not always correct (well depends on what way you look at it).
This is how it was in the championship anyway:
The figure published in programmes that we take away is the amount of tickets we sell at Loftus Road from our allocation.
It did not include tickets sold at the away ground (from tickets returned) or pay on the day tickets (obviously this is not done the same in the prem as there are no pay on the day tickets available to away fans so there is more chance that it is correct this year) ALthough with places like Fulham where anyone seemed to be able to get tickets it becomes just a guesstimate.Last edited by 80sCasual; 18-10-2011, 08:33 PM.Queens Park RangersNPower Champions 2010/2011

Those seats in lower School end won't be covered this week as Chelsea have been given full allocation of school end upper & lower. Also maybe family stand not sold is because some parents may feel there will be trouble at this game and don't want to subject their young kids to what ever might be going on in and around the ground? similar to Millwall last year

yeah in Denmark where the largest Club FC Copenhagen has approximately 20.000 spectators (similar to QPR) it is ONLY some games that there is a Family stand. There is never a Family stand allocated for the High risk matches for security reasons. The same should apply to QPR, but not only for security reasons - also because of the added interest of watching us (QPR) against the big teams.
