Now that the facts have been established and certain decisions have been taken, I feel that now is an appropriate time to say a few things.

Firstly, speaking as part of the moderating team, I would like to apologise to Ric on behalf of us all for the fact that an e-mail address was given out. Regardless of why and whatever the reasons were, this should not have happened. So, please accept our apologies Ric.

Furthermore, I would like to re-iterate what MYU already stated yesterday and to reassure all posters that it is the policy of this site, NOT to give out personal information. Obviously in this instance a breach of this policy took place, but what else can be said, other than to state that in as far as we can control matters, this will not happen again.

There are of course the usual suspects, who being pretty dim, seem to feel that there has been an attempt to cover things up or make excuses for Pete behind the scenes. I can tell you that nothing could be further from the truth. The delay was entirely down to us trying to establish the full facts of what had happened, in order that it could be dealt with in a proper manner, rather than just spout off with untruths and half-truths as some on here are inclined to do. Ric is aware of at what point I found out about all of this and why I couldn't do anything sooner personally.

As most of you will have noticed, Pete has now relinquished his roles as both Admin and Mod. No doubt some will be very pleased with themselves for their continued part in bringing about such a decision. Hardly the result of a cover up, is it? I suspect that even that is not good enough for some on here, who like nothing better than to cause trouble for others. Anonymously, of course.

Ric, throughout all of this you have acted in a very dignified manner. Defended a manager who has behaved disgracefully whatever his reason, along with trying to play this down. You yourself acknowledge that although what happened was wrong, there was indeed no malice intended. Personally, I feel that things could and should have been handled a lot better since the original error of judgement and that you have every right to feel disappointed. Recent posts have indicated a rather different pattern, so from a personal point of view, I would urge you not to start behaving like some on here. I simply cannot believe how some of life's losers and sad cases have even suggested taking legal advice etc., what spiteful, vindictive and nasty pieces of work some of our fellow fans really are.

What if it was his name on the email and it had happened to you? I'd be livid if my email was shown to the country. So I can see why some people are suggesting legal advice.

      Brighton: top, non-bias post mate.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Yeh good post but what if the email addy had been real and a surname was on it? I know it wasn't but could of easily been a lot worse. I'm not jumping on an anti mod bandwagon as I've never had a problem with them.. Just saying.. Really hope this is the end of this cause it's quite boring now.

Brighton thank you & it is very very much appreciated.

I will always back the manager as imo he's the best we've had for near on 20 years & has done absolute wonders for this football club. I fully acknowledge why Neil is upset. He speaks from the heart & like myself sometimes lets his emotions get the better of him which I believe to be the case in this instance.

I would like to place on record my apologies to NW & his coaching team for any hassle that my post may have caused but as is pretty clear now it was NEVER my intention to cause problems & I honestly thought it was the kind of news we'd all be hearing pretty soon anyway. I could do no more than what I did by immediately contacting the owner of this site to get the post deleted, I acted in good faith & would never do anything to harm this football club that like many others I dearly love.

For the record also I wouldn't dream of taking any course of legal action against anyone however angry I am about my details being handed out. It is my football club, my family's & friends football club and would never stoop to that level. I had an email this morning from a legal firm in Russel Square asking me to contact them as they have some important issues to raise with me & that they would be happy to represent me should I wish. I have not & will not be responding to the email & it has been promptly deleted.

I love QPR, I love Neil Warnock & the lesson learned for me this weekend is less is more.

Thanks again for those that have pm'd me & shown support on many threads, they know I'm an R through & through & that's all that matters to me.

If Ric-Roc does not consult a lawyer and go for the throat it its plausible, Ric-Roc is crazy IMO. The general dumbing down of people in the country who just accept things that should not happen, due to some misguided loyalty, to something/someone who has shafted them, is extremely worrying.

It would have been awful Mellow. But it's awful that it happened anyway, even without his full name. Not trying to play down the possible consequences of what might have happened. Just trying to deal with things the way they are.

Not trying to defend anyone, I couldn't. But sometimes people make mistakes. Genuine ones that in hindsight, they regret making. But being vindictive with regard to a matter such as this is just immature.

You are constantly stating things on here that are blatantly incorrect Paul, despite being told about it time and time again. That is also extremely worrying.

Ric has shown that he is above all that sort of stuff. A proper bloke Paul. He is not accepting it, he's pretty angry in case you hadn't noticed. Some of us can deal with things without having to go around crying about them all over the place. It's known as acting in an appropriate manner. Over reacting and throwing hissy fits appears not to be one of his traits.
