  • Steve Kean 'We Expected Taarabt To Start'

As a lot have already mentioned why on earth would a massive club like Blackburn Rovers who play in the most watched league in the world listen to a rumour of a fan on a site where 99.9% of stuff written is absolute b0llox?

Clubs have scouts, staff that compile dossiers, media men in their camp to provide information on their opponents prior to games. They train for that specific game, they do not alter that after reading a rumour on a QPR website, which history will tell you has the worst itk rate ever anyway.

    And this quote from Steve Kean regarding Adel Taarabt in his pre match conference just goes to show how OTT the whole situation has become;

Steve Kean 'We actually played Jason Lowe today in a deep lying midfield role thinking he was going to start but he didn't start'

I'm so insulted BRFC didn't take note of my post

As I have already said lessons have been learned ALL round this weekend.

Just proves what other clubs do to mark Adel out of the game
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

Can you imagine, they could employ a YTA just to look thru the forums of the upcoming team they will play, and he'll read something and bang on Keanes door....

'' Boss, boss, theres a story that Puncheon will start instead of Hall''
        Then 10 mins later
''Boss boss, Barton will be replaced with Buzaky''
        10 more mins
'' Boss, boss, Smith to replace Wright Phillips''
        then
''Boss, boss, Connelly is fit again, and might start''
        then
''Boss, boss, Taraabt is being dropped''

You get the picture, in the real world it just doesn't happen, its utterly absurd.

Forums are all about gossip, rumours, scandal, made-up stories, and 99% is cr@p.

Exactly my point mate. And as Superhoops67 pointed out yesterday because the post actually became reality it caught everyone on the hop & now its a big deal.

Just spoke to a mate who works at West Ham & he was cracking up laughing saying what pro club in the world would listen to a thing that comes off of a fans website, I said apparently Blackburn do but according to Steve Kean that's seems not to be the case.

Absolutely OTT reaction from NW & the club. But the blame imo lies with Pete not granting my request of deleting the post when it was still very much unseen & of course for disclosing my personal information.

The problem is not with who or what was printed the problem is a member of the club is releasing confidential imformation.Although not that important now it could be in future
and therefore NW has to stamp it out.

Bang on, I feel a little bad for Ric but Warnock is just trying to stop the problem so it doesnt happen again
