  • Some general observations - Has Warnock lost the plot and are we about to implode?

With the likelyhood of no points from the next four games (although personally I think we'll sneak a draw at Tottenham!) and the fact we could be in the bottom three by the Norwich game do you think Neil is the long term future and is the Premiership a step too far for some of our players?

Did he get his tactics right on Saturday? Were we too defensive and why no changes earlier?

I have mixed feelings, all the talk about Tarbs after Fulham and now RicRocgate is Neil just a sly old fox deflecting attention away from sh*te on pitch displays or has he run out of ideas? Surely he can't be serious blaming an internet post as one factor in the sides poor display? We hear rumours of dressing room unrest and with Barton's comments on the defence at Fulham, and then Taarabt on Saturday are we about to implode?

I hope not, but the chemistry we all saw last season in the squad has clearly gone. My opinion of Neil is that he may not be the master tactician but his man management skills are second to none, but will this be enough? After NW publically slated Traore and his hints at Fitz-Hall thier confidence must be at rock bottom. I thought Traore looked very scared Saturday and afraid to make the forward runs which were so effective against Newcastle, Wolves etc.

I love Neil and what he has done for this club but I am starting to question his ability at this level, but then part of me says he can only manage the players he has, and if they are not up to the standard of the PL then its not really his fault. Such a pity TF couldn't complete his takeover a few weeks earlier.

There seems to be a lot of unreat amoungst the fan base and where I sat on Saturday I couldn't believe the negativity from the majority of fans. We are IMHO victims of our own success. NW came in like a breathe of fresh air and took this club forward faster than any manager previous, we then win away at Everton and Wolves and now everyone expects a favourable result every game. We've drawn 3 at home and won 2 away, have 9 points from 8 games and are 11th in the league. Last year we all agreed 2 points per game would get us promoted, now we need 1 point per game to remain in the top flight. Our expectations are now too high and people need to get real and enjoy where we are and the players we have.

My 14 year old summed it up very well on the way home after the match "the fans have waited 15years for this yet all they do is moan, we didn't loose and a draw is a step forward from when we played them in the FA Cup"
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
