    Perhaps Pete's comments were around the time Sousagate!!

    I'm sure Nodge would verify what I've said...

    As I said, probably only confusion on Pete's part and all Mods are aware of their DPA obligations

      I have my own theory as to why the thread was left up. I think Pete knew the club was watching and having spent the past few months trying to gain some respectability as 'The Correspondant' he was open to a tirade of abuse from posters for deleting the thread.

          Sorry, but NO involved in this site is clever enough to cover their backs, including mods, owners and admin. The only one was probably Scott but he's nothing to do with this site since helping create it!

          Ric should demand apologies and explanations from the moles within this site

            Well in Pete's words " the club asked him to leave it up"
            If that's the case a) why's warnick moaning b) why didn't Pete grow a pair and say NO I'm deleting it..

              My understanding is that if you hold personal information, whether written or on a computer, for subscribers, you are required to have a data protection licence. The information has to be stored securely and the information must not be allowed to be passed to third parties unless subscribers explicitly agree to it.

              In this case, I understand the forum owners have to ensure that subscribers information is held securely, and despite what the club may or may not want, the forum owners must refuse any requests for personal information without the consent of the subscriber.

              The security services of course can obtain this information, but not a bloody football club!
              Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                    Exactly mate. And i just watched player where neil reads out the email addy and goes into one. That should not be on player. The way QPR and Neil have handled this is disgusting. And, yes, QPR ...Ric Roc is a proper fan...a well known tops lad. Pinning our inadequacies on him and this site is amateur

                      Jeffro, you're a good lad but stop bigging up Jones. It's creepy and a little embarrassing mate. He's in it for himself, no matter what. He's already on Pete's case on FB, and for no other reason that to try and score some brownie points with the likes of you. Fairplay to him as it seems to be working.
                      Your mum would love me...

                          Organisations that hold your personal information must use it fairly, keep it secure, make sure the information is accurate and keep it up to date. You have the right to expect this from them.

                          When organisations collect your information:

                          they should usually be open about why they are collecting it;
                          they should only use it in a reasonable way that you would expect; and
                          they shouldn’t use it in a way that is unfair to you.
                          In some cases organisations do not have to be open when they collect information, for example when the police collect information about a suspect during an ongoing investigation. Openness is the general rule though, whether you’re dealing with an official body or a private one.

                          What is a privacy notice?
                          A privacy notice is a statement that tells you who is collecting information about you and what it will be used for.

                          Privacy notices take a number of forms, for example a notice on a website or a script read out over the telephone. A privacy notice should be in clear language and must be truthful.

                          A privacy notice should say:

                          who is collecting information about you;
                          what it’s going to be used for; and
                          whether it’s going to be shared with other organisations.
                          This is the legal minimum. However, privacy notices can be used to tell you about other things, such as;

                          the right of access to your information;
                          how to get inaccurate information corrected; and
                          the organisation’s security arrangements.
                          When should an organisation provide a privacy notice?
                          If it is already obvious who is collecting your details and what they are going to be used for, it is enough for the organisation to have a privacy notice available on request for those people who want further information.

                          In other cases a privacy notice should be actively provided to you. This is the case where:

                          it is not clear who is collecting the information; and
                          the information will be used in a way you wouldn’t expect.
                          Was your information collected fairly?
                          You can ask yourself the following questions to work out whether your information was collected fairly:

                          Was it clear who collected your information and what it would be used for?
                          Did you know that your information would be shared with other organisations?
                          Was a privacy notice provided to you, or was it available on request?
                          Was the privacy notice truthful and easy to understand?
                          If the answer to any of these questions is ‘no’, then it is likely that your details were collected unfairly. You can complain about this to the organisation concerned. If you are still not satisfied, we may be able to help.

                            Benny, I simply said Scott has more nous than the others, not sure where I keep biggin him up, simply an opinion based on a current situation, no more than you defend Pete or big him up about supporting QPR.

                            If Scott had been a c@nt I'd say that on here too, infact in the past I have.

                            Other than that I have no idea of scotts agenda if he has one?

How did the CLUB get ric's email address from this website?

                              Questions that all need answering , and to be honest I agree with Mason on what ric should do..

                              I have been going regularly since 1985 and can remember rics face long before I knew him, so to be called a "so called fan" and to be outed by some waster in this place is a complete joke and someone either the owners, mods or admin need to give a decent guy and poster and more importantly FAN some answers.
                              Every club will have a level of contact with unofficial forums. It would be remiss of them not to.

                                I was told after sousa gate that we employed someone full time to look at all the boards (especially this one). Hence how I got ejected from QPR once for making a joke about swine flu on here.
