  • Is something not right?

Just taking a look at twitter, the team spirit, jokes, wind ups etc seem to have dried up, either they've been told or something is not right in the camp.

    Who knows?

Who knows... I'm sure there are unpopular players but I bet there are at any club. Fear our one is the skipper

I can't help feeling something happened after the Villa game and before the Fulham one. These players are showing no togetherness.
I suspect certain (new) players may not regard "Uncle Neil" with the fondness that last year's team did -- the bawling out of Traore for the red card may well have put a spoke in his relationship with NW.
I do wonder whether NW may have bitten off more than he can chew with Barton -- AT might be a big ego, but he is a young mouldable one, whereas Barton is an older, established player who is beyond the arm-on-the-shoulder approach.
I agree, something has gone very wrong, and I do wonder if NW can hold this group of players/dressing room together.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

          Agree.

The excitement is being drained from us.

          We need a victory

Barton seems more interested with his life in London and the sights rather than his football, we're just a sideline.

something has clearly changed. barton doesn't seem to be firing on all cylinders, SWP looks like he's already run half a marathon before kick-off, and twitter has gone quieter.

one senses disenchantment in the camp. but hey. these days everyone treats each game like an epic...one game does not a season make.

overall i am happy with a point today. beats our last home outing.
                    come on you r's!

SWP after a brilliant start against Newcastle has gone right off the boil. And Traore, after a fantastic first couple of games, didn't seem half the player today after his public humiliation. Warno is one of those Marmite managers who clearly has strong favourites. When it works, its brilliant, when it doesn't...
I'm very aware that we wouldn't be here without Warno but I am wondering about his tactical nouse. His formation clearly isn't working yet he doesn't seem to have anything in his locker. And in the last few minutes today wouldn't it have been worth throwing Bothroyd on?

Just read Bartons interview on Rocknroll football on ABSOLUTE today and it seems a few heads have gone down, with him indicating those dropped today need to buckle down and work hard and realise its a squad game of 14/15, rather than sulking !

be interesting to see how he would react if dropped....though can never see that happen. Adel was dropped for non-football reasons.....well I hope that's the case, otherwise I really will have lost faith in warnock

I think Barton needs to knuckle down and be a leader, before he sla.gs his team-mates off in public.
