tbh, I noticed the thread had disappeared, and my first thought was that it had been deleted because the poster had found out his info was wrong!
So this idea that it had to be left up otherwise everyone would know it was true isn't right -- certainly wasn't what I thought when it disappeared.

Why does this board not allow users to delete their own threads?
Others do, as does Facebook etc.

Sorry but, if he was so worried about the team being leaked...well...he had 24 hours to frigging change it. Disgusting behaviour by QPR IMHO

IF Pete made the decision to keep this up, and/or if this site provided the email to the club, then they need to take some responsibility.

The club has behaved appallingly, and should be suitably contrite also, it's not only irresponsible (although I doubt they would have done the same if Ric's full name was on the email, as it is he is still fairly anonymous, unless this site gave his name too....) but also massively unprofessional.

Yet again, we look like a two-bob outfit

Ric, hyperthetically, if you received similar trustworthy info on an injury or team selection next week (or in the future)......and not necessarily from the same source........
Would you post it on here ?

For the record, I think NW & The Club are in the wrong here in publishing your email address.
But someone has betrayed you by providing it to them.

Not a chance would I post anything again.

As I said it only had 145 views when I got wind the info was sensitive so asked for it to be removed. It wasn't & has caused all this nonsense.

Sky Sports have a channel dedicated to football news, rumours, line up's & injuries what's the difference.

                    • Fair play, I guess there's lessons to learn for all of us.

Although,I'd love to know if NW does agree to meet you in person.

For years people have been saying this site was the mouthpiece for parts of QPR FC and this kinda confirms it.

Been on this site 3-4 years & always got involved in new debate but would NEVER EVER post anything that is detrimental to the team / club.

I posted that approx 3:17 yesterday. By 3:40 I had a message from QPR FC to contact them to remove message. I thought the news was something that would be heard on SSN within an hour so posted it. When I realised it was sensitive info I personally rang Q Block Pete & asked him to remove it. He assured me he would.

The info was never taken down. Why?

In hindsight I understand it was naïve but I honestly thought it was news that would hit the media ASAP but still requested it was removed.

16 hours later I am being dug out by Neil Warnock as a 'so called QPR fan' which I find absolutely pathetic considering I have followed this club far & wide for 30 odd years. Anyway as I said previously I love QPR, I love Warnock & that will never change. Sometimes less is more.

Apologies but please remember you picked team, formation, tactics which didn't work today.

                          COYR'ssss
Not your fault. People within the club is to blame, and shouldn`t give important information to fans. Doubt that it was that important.....they prob didn`t change their tactics or formation because of a rumour on a MB.

                          • I'd be frankly stunned if a) a Blackburn coaching employee read this site, b) flabbergasted if they took a blind bit of notice anyway and c) altered the training plans they work on for 5 days because of it 24 hours before the game.

It is just obviously a defence mechanism to block awkward "football questions" post match (understandable) but, I'm afraid, reflects badly on Warnock. Hopefully in the cold morning light, he'll look at this again, perhaps chat it over with the missus and go on to Talksport or SSN to say he overreacted in light of a disappointing performance...

                            • Ric Roc old son we've had the odd bust up - have been off line a lot recently as started new job can't take liberties with internet - get home and kids hog it - what has happened ? was down home yesterday for the game - saw an article in paper by Warnock - do you know who passed on your details and why ? no one likes a effing grass - just hope this doesn't escalate mate - as i said we've had the odd bust up (even got myself banned) but this is bang out of order - surely what we say on here should be between ourselves and members shouldn't go running to teacher at playtime

                              • We've had a few verbal exchanges in the past I agree mate

But it has been nice & amicable the last few times we exchanged convo. Your on a level mate which is all good we just used to get to emotional but no harm was ever done.

Well mate my email was passed to club by Pete. To defend him slightly he was under the impression the club wanted to email me but they obviously done what they done. I think the least Pete could have done is 1) ask if it was ok & 2) when all this surfaced yesterday contact me & apologise.

                                I got neither.
