  • warnock flawed as prem boss

im sorry but i think warnock is way out of his depth at this level, its the same old substitutions he as no game plan when were at home v teams like blackburn 2 up front not 1 swp always the scapgoat, and what as barton done since he's been here he dont want to be here and its showing 2 mackies are worth 1 of him. nw. he had the chance today to play bothroyd and helguson up front and he didnt, this feels like a defeat to me because of our next 4 game.
sorry nw not going to push as on bring back the old guard tommy smith and akos deserve a chance again.

He has his favorites and that's it. The reason for not playing Buzz was Adel and when Adel dont not play, he still does not play him. In the first half NW played Derry behind Helguson, which is utter madness.

There will come a time when Neil will be under pressure,Fernandes won't sit back and do nothing if he thinks we will be relegated.NW deserves a chance and I hope fans don't turn on him,but this is a results business and he has a tough month coming up,will he survive the season or even till jan/feb,I honestly don't know

Helguson and Bothroyd up front don't seem the greatest partnership in my eyes. Also before anyone else jumps on the warnock ain't good enough bandwagon just remember he had a very short amount of time to get players in so the squad depth is still poor. We currently sit in 10th position and we wouldn't even be here if it wasn't for him. I think a couple of things he has said to the press recently has been pretty poor but I still am 100% behind warnock.

Mate I agree second half Derry should be have been sacrificed gave the ball away more then I can remember and was spent in terms of energy, then he should have moved Barton ( who I agree don't fk all since arriving bar wolves) intothe middle , bring taraabt on sooner play bothroyd up , again on sooner with heider and leave swp on , should have gone 4 1 3 2
Warnock is unfortunately showing himself to Have nonplan b

I feel sorry for NW as he hasn't really been given a fair chance yet due to the circus that was the summer but I do tend to agree that he does seem out of his depth. Think he will be given a chance by TF but if January we are bottom 3 he could well get replaced.

And exactly who should replace NW? We're eight games in and people are pressing the panic button already.

              Give him a chance!

It is harsh to be critical of the manager after what he did for us last year but football is very unforgiving and you are only as good as your recent results.

Thought he got it badly wrong against Fulham and we look very one dimensional with little plan B. Who knows if there is problems behind the scenes but the players he brought in do not seem to firing as they were in the first few games after signing. Most are seasoned professionals at this level and just maybe they are loosing a little faith in Warnock, if he can't motivate or change things when games are going against us.

One thing for certain next few games are very difficult and he will be under massive pressure to deliver tactics that will at least give us a chance. Couple of big losses and he may beat Kean to the chop as result really do matter in the Prem.

If bottom in January I will want him replaced as well, top guy and great championship manager but this is the premiership and I don't want us back in the championship any time soon

Sorry but don't know what planet some of you are on. Saying its a result business, well in that case QPR are sitting in 10th despite being a relegation favourite so NW is doing well. Got off his back, we don't deserve to beat any teams in this division and it wouldn't matter who was in charge of this current side - we'd still struggle. You'd swear we were a regular top 4 team the way u lot are carrying on.

Many with longer memories will remember a certain A. Ferguson was one FA cup final win away from getting the boot from Man Utd. He then proceeded to stuff his club's trophy room full of silverware.

Sometimes getting rid of the manager too soon is not a wise decision, and NW has earned the right to a full season in the PL. Without him we'd still be in the NPC, so nothing ventured nothing gained.

Ferguson drops players that are not playing well and rotates the players to keep them on their toes and to get the best of them. NW sadly does not and relies on the same players, in the same system, with the same substitutions. He has the players IMO, he just wont use them.

Totally agree. I just cannot understand how buz did not feature atall today. if he doesn"t start instead of mackie then he should at least have come on for one of derry, barton, faurlin. Team seemed to lack fight and togetherness like I've never seen since warnock took over. If a warnock team has no fight and togetherness, then we're in serious trouble. How's ollie doing?
