      Blimey...

It's not our dough so if TF was willing to spend a bit (or lot depending on your valuation) over the odds then I'd be more than happy as I (along with a few others from memory) was advocating we buy GH before he went up North of the border... would be a fantastic signing IMHO... U R's

Prior to going to Celtic there were...

loads on here who were begging for us to sign him up now all of a sudden because he's scored goals in a dogsh1t league we don't want him... don't make sense to me and I reckon he'd do brilliant in the EPL given a chance... but what do I know huh...

Regardless of whether he playes in the SPL or not he is a top striker.

Big, mobile, can head & knows where the goal is. Scored absolute bundles at Sc#nthorpe & as we all know what ever level your at you can only score against what's in front of you.

              Sign him up!!

You can't say he's a top striker because he's never played in a top league. Yes he has the potential to be a top striker, but as of yet he's unproven, so £7m is ridiculous.

He was excellent in the CCC for a poor side, so the chances are he would cut it, but, there have been many players who did well in the 2nd tier and then did nothing when playing against top defenders in the prem.

Could say the same for Shane Long he seems to be doing alright.

Its not that difficult to see strikers with attributes that would work well in the Premiership.

My opinion only of course. Seen him live a few times & is a real handful & in my view is a 'top striker' I didn't say world class or amazing I said top striker as in very very good.

I agree in principle, but the fact is he could be a massive failure in the prem. Shane Long has proved himself in the Prem and scored goals against the likes of Man Utd and Chelsea already this season, but before he'd played in the Prem, i'd have said exactly the same.

                      Exactly my point.

And if you wanted another opinion I have is that I rate Hooper as better than Long.
