what i would agree with you on is that i would have liked loyalty last year to have been rewarded this year with some points to carry over cos the people most affected buyu this are all the people who didnt need to buy an st as they always got a ticket game by game, there are probably a lot of fans like that who went to near enough every game home and away and these are the people who deserve recognition , i dont have any sympathy for the fans who will only attend the big games this year
As for the other posters argument about ST holders having first choice, i'll turn the question round, why should they get first option on AWAY tickets?
Out of 23 away games last season, Cardiff and Watford were the only games which got snapped up by ST holders and that was because a win secured promotion so what happened to them for the other 21 games?
If we received 3,000 tickets for every away game this season i guarantee the only ones to be snapped up by ST holders would be Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham, Liverpool, Man United and Spurs. 6 games out of 19, loyal....?? Hardly! We couldn't even sell 1,800 tickets at Everton, (arguably the best away day outside of the 6 above) for our first away game in the premiership for 15 years!
Now this isn't a dig at ST holders, not at all but the argument is based on priority for away tickets and this should be based on away attendance not home!
The club need to introduce something which reflects away loyalty which can be used for away tickets before the current system in place. If this was the case you could have no moaning, it's simple, fans who go the most away games get first priority, then if there are tickets remaining home loyalty comes into the equation.

tell you what they could do is away bundles where you buy 5-6 away games which will inc the less glamourous ones, alonside 1 or 2 big ones, then everyone will just moan that not fair as they dont want to go to this one or that one etc.
only way to do this is the l;oyalty points

Its very simple - award loyalty points for matches attended both home and away but not for the purchase of a ST. Your reward for buying a ST is the fact you pay less per game and are guaranteed a seat.
At the start of the season EVERY fan on the database starts with zero points. Each home game you attend gets you a point, and each away game gets 2 points. That way we all start on an equal playing field and everyone has the same chance to purchase away tickets. First away game goes straight on general sale, first come first served and we go from there. Simple really.22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

so if everyfan on database has a chance and a big game comes up first or second the ones who go to bolton sunderland blackburn away may miss that game cos they couldnt get down there?? how is that right?
think the system they have now the fairest for most,
another point a few more of the less glamourous away games coming up will give people a chance to make up some loyalty points in line for the big aways later in season, bet people arent scrambling for them ones.
remember the club also gave loyalty points to those who attended the carling cup game points were more then those who went to wolves. its the same story as last season where everyone wanted the leeds tickets yet didnt attend the previous game , these people also slated the club cos they couldnt buy a ticket then saying unfair.

ok
like many i used to retain stubs and either post or go to box office
i hated that
now we have some kind of loyalty scheme and still i go to box office, queue and still could miss out
we take the same now as we usually average away, ok we took a few more cos we were winning and champs but average would be 1000 away fans.
the current scheme works quite well, only away season tkt holders have no worries.
THOSE THAT GO THE MOST GAMES should get first pickings
sorry if
some can't get tkts for their arsenal mates/whatever
i average 12 away games every season and miss games due to work shifts, i think i am quite loyal,
WHY SHOULD I END UP IN A TICKET FREE FOR ALL ??

ref the guys who have gone to 15 home and away (bet you not a lot of people done that as thats virtually a whole season) yes they have sacrificed but over a longer time so less painful
i bet you matty these people who go to as many games as you say are a minority
the majority will be happy to let all the others go to all the boltons blackburns wigans and only want the chelshit spurs arsenal etc games and will moan why others have more of a right to get them , the same lot that moaned it was their right to get a leeds ticket last year despite being nowheret o be seen for the other games, in a majority of cases
