I'm really struggling to understand people's mindsets. Maybe just me.

Something for nothing yet still not good enough?

New board trying to acknowledge that the old board got the pricing wrong and make a gesture of goodwill.

I guess you can never please everyone.

agree with the fat italian buffoon being incompetent but dont you think it would be better if the couple of hundred grand they have spent giving ST holders £25 each could have been kept and spent elswhere? did people really expect £100 each? remember this is a product that has already been bought and a price agreed upon. If you couldnt afford it and thought the price was too high then why the **** shell out for it? pick and choose games like many other fans have had to do if you cant afford a ST. If i sold a product to one of my customers and they came back 3 months later saying they feel they have been overcharged can they have a lump back id tell em to **** right off
trouble is TF suggested the "refund" and many fans heard the "KERCHING" noise

What's so difficult to understand the club gave the fans the impression that they would see a significant rebate on their ST's. The club were fully aware that fans believed they would see a % of their ST value back then offer a poxy £50 voucher regardless of how much you've paid for your ST.

Fans were expecting to see their ST price set at a more realistic value this hasn't happened. On top of that its taken the board 1 month to come up with something they could have worked out in 5 mins.

why say half truths in the 1st place then
I think that's the point - on its own what they've done is decent, but they should have more careful in what they promised.

People paid for the ST's at the old prices. It wasn't a compulsory purchase.

Fans who thought they were too expensive simply didn't buy them and chose to go game by game.

Fans who purchased an item at a fixed price are getting something back. For nothing.

Why? Because I hold a different opinion and can see exactly why the Club have offered the gesture in the manner they have?

                        Ridiculous.

It was a really good gesture by the club Nodge. £50 is not to be sniffed at by anybody, surely and we should all appreciate it.

Although it's very unfair to say that anybody has been "ripped off" in any way, I think the problem is that they could have managed expectations better. If it were to be a £50 voucher, then all they needed to do was say so many weeks ago.

To use the words "significant refund", indicated to a lot of people, both a higher amount and a "proper" form of credit. A voucher towards buying something you do not want in terms of spending it in the club shop, which the club make a large profit margin on anyway, would be an understandable disappointment. However, if it can be redeemed on away tickets, then that's great, provided of course one is able to buy the ones that you want.

getting back to the PL was very emotional for a lot of fans after a 15year wait alot had to break the bank to get there ST's for themselves and family and some are still reeling from the OTTprice rise and were looking for some financial payback as they were led to believe, so for you to say it is ridiculous ,with your blase remark you look in the mirror and see who is ridiculous

Have you got a season ticket fella? You see if they had told us in the first place it would be a gesture/a small something back then you would not have these issues.

But they said it would be a signigicant refund on my season ticket. Can you honestly tell me a £50 voucher is a significant refund on £759? I agree they did not have to do anything but having said one thing which was well documented and then done another surely people have the right to be a bit annoyed?
