You can choose to spend a bonafide "refund" whether you wish. You have to spend this "gesture voucher" with the club.

Remember Bhatia and Fernandes saying it was something they would look at and seek to rectify.Last edited by W12_Ranger; 13-10-2011, 01:00 PM.

For anyone in doubt i have highlighted in bold what was said. I see both sides, but still maintain a £50 voucher in the club shop/ticket office does not represent a "significant refund" on my £759 outlay.
Yes it is a nice gesture and they did not have to do anything. So am grateful on that front. My issue like many other folk is with what was said ( in bold above ) and what has been offered are totally different.
Cash refunds yes would have been time consuming and some work with VAT etc ( even though the club benefit VAT wise from cash refunds ) but it could have been done. It is not that difficult.

Is it really that bad that we are getting £50 back from the club but it's in Vouchers? If that’s all you lot have got to go on about then things aren't that bad
Bring back Orange Man and the little fella! Then we can start the hardcore moaning again.
I'm sorry but I just find the whole thing quite laughable that it's causing this much of a moan up!A man who has not made a mistake has made nothing

so what is it gonna cost the club to pay out these refunds to ST holders? must be hundreds of thousands of pounds...£200k ? £300k? whatever it is its money that could have been spent on fees or wages for new players in the Jan transfer window that has now been wasted on people who already agreed and paid a price for a product. Amit and TF should have just kept the money for other things rather than flush it away as its obviously not helped their image the fans anyhow. What did you lot expect? the club to pay a million or so to give you a few more quid beer money?

They're giving back £50 they don't have to (in whatever manner you dress it up).
Hardly a fair comparison either.

A the end of the day I think most fans wanted a cash refund but we got vochers for the shop/ticket office. Im a bit disappointed because I expect a cash refund and a slightly larger amount! Having said that I thank the board for this gesture and look forward to the bundle that will happen in the club shop with all us refunders trying to get our shirts!LONDON CALLING TO THE ZOMBIES OF DEATH....
