they was a quality side lymehoop.seniors played in top div of sportsmans league.they formed a youth/young team (16 - 18 yr olds ) which is where i started.we had some good young players(mainly bush/white city lads ).The manager Ray anderson promoted me to the senior team i was 17 and was youngest ever player in the seniors.we had some very good semi pros,the likes of terry harrison,gordon stewart,roy elliot(was charlie his dad ?) then other good local players like reg bodie,john seymour,john baker,alan perez,johnny smith.we also had ex brentford keeper chic brodie..was run by ray anderson,john birch snr.happy days they were..wally downes.mark lovell also played for christon..

yeh very nice bloke(RIP)..he use to run the team with ray.he use to see me now and again and say " you know you was the youngest ever player mate"
