A TROUBLED Shepherd's Bush pub regularly used by QPR fans before games has been stripped of its license this week.

General Smuts, in Bloemfontein Road, became a target for police after repeatedly flouting the rules of their license with Hammersmith and Fulham Council's licensing committee revoking it on Monday....

Why have they broughy it up again, old news now already published once by them. Now left without a decent meeting place before games.
Doesn't mention Leeds fans 'attack' was at Half Time though.

Welcome to the on-going sanitisation of the Premiership.

No coincidence this approach goes hand in hand with dawn raids, over zealous stewards, high ticket prices and pride of place given to the cameras.

Still accept it all to stay up as I've had the rest of it - loved the ride of the late 80's, the 90's and the topsy turvy up's and down's of the 2000's but could do without going through it again.
I need some time in the sunshine, I gotta slow it right down.

there is apparently some old Doris that is head of police for H/smith that has ordered all pubs in a radius of football clubs to ban drinking outside on match days and these pubs have to employ security [boucers] to see this doesn't happen, well thats the info I have been given

                            its

its not good, omn a hot summers day who wants to be sat inside a pub,but now itas been de licenced the pub may attract even more hoolies i cvant see how de licensing a pub will stop problems, peple can bring beer from off licences,so i just cant imagine how this helps
but its the springbok who the police will come looking for now,its position creates a lot of mixing of away fans and home fans
in fact the spribngbok was a good place to put the hoolies now they will return to uxbridge road, and they will return in massive numbers so there will be more trouble

Been closed since after 1st game of the season. Police crack down? bullying people on a Football day, didn't see too many of them wanting to go bullying the rioters. Football supporters soft targets. Haven't been anywhere else where I not been allowed to drink outside the pubs around the grounds
