Should be aiming about 38 for survival IMO, and seeing as turn of year we will have played exactly half our games, around the 20 mark we should be aiming for.
We currently have 8 with the following games to play before the turn of the year:
Blackburn (H)
Chelski (H)
Spuds (A)
City (H)
Stoke (A)
Norwich (A)
WBA (H)
Lpool (A)
Man Utd (H)
Sunderland (H)
Swansea (A)
Arsenal (A)
12 points from these games wont be easy but is certainly not out of our capability at all. If we can perform as we did against Newcastle, Wolves and the 1st half vs Villa against the likes of Blackburn, Norwich, WBA, Sunderland and Swansea we can certainly get 3 points from these games. Plus there will always be the odd point we dont expect and sounds mad to say now, ie Arsenal away.
So rambling aside, yes I believe we can reach the 20 point mark by the turn of the year.... but we will need to get some consistancy and killer instinct into our game! You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

I think 14 points from the current squad and fixtures coming up might just be a bit too optimistic. with the current playing style, QPR could be more of a threat away from home, but not against the teams they are due to play. Spurs, Stoke, Norwich, Liverpool Swansea, Arsenal. I'd be surprised if they got any wins from these and expect no more than 3 draws.
At home QPR will be playing:
Blackburn H, Chelsea H, Man City H,West Brom H, Man Utd H, Sunderland H
In bold are the games I am half expecting wins against.
That would give the side maybe 19 points from 20 games.
However, with a few good signings again in the next window, including at least one quality striker, QPR can pick up 18-23 points from the last 18 fixtures.
One other hope is for a few postponements during Nov, Dec & Jan to allow any new signings to play in the rearranged games.

I think we can get there - but we need to be winning games like Vs blackburn to get there. getting points of spurs/chelsea would be a miracle...i just can't see use "sneaking a point" against any of the big teams. it's the smaller ones we need to pounce on.

Blackburn (H) +3
Chelski (H) +0
Spuds (A) +0
City (H)+0
Stoke (A) +0
Norwich (A) +1
WBA (H) +3
Lpool (A) +0
Man Utd (H) +0
Sunderland (H) +1
Swansea (A) +3
Arsenal (A) +0
By my calculations we will get 11 points out of those games and therefore will have 19 points at the start of January and the half way point of the season and will more than likely be bottom 5.
Sounds pessimistic but i've tried to be as realistic as possible and will be pleasently surprised by any other cheeky points we pick up along the way.
